I realised recently that a lot of issues I struggle with when I'm drawing can be easily solved if I take a moment to look at the -simple-forms and study them, thinking carefully. In the end, everything has some sort of form (well, maybe except fog or something lol)
when you model fog in 3D, you realize that it has general shape too and is just gradient inside it. 3D really helps to simplify complex things and to realize how shapes work.
