There's *TONS* of medkits scattered around, this could've been over faster if you suck up a few hits and hit them with your BARS or Springfield instead of lurking around, especially towards the end.

And how can enymies hit you even though they can see you and you cant see them and you can't throw a grenade next to a tree or it will just come back and blow you up.
As long as you don't start the Tank mission (i.e. as long as you don't take any of the four parts of the anti-tank weapon), you can get your grenades as often as you want to in the house that the tank will circle around later - so you have an infinite supply of grenades, so to speak.
this games is hard with bad saves its like prison for first-person shooters if play this game past 4 missions you can beat any game its sad I couldn't keep redoing missions over again because of the stupid checkpoints good game tho.

the special thing is a blank round. (a bullet without the bullet basically a shell casing with the gun powder inside)

The BAR is in serious need of a bigger magazine.

The BAR was chambered in the .30-06 rifle cartridge, any higher of a magazine capacity and it would've been too heavy.
The BAR actually had a 20 round magazine.
