We've reached the conclusion of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and to end our playthrough of this amazing game. Kim wanted to sing "Hollow" the theme song for FFVII Remake. It was a fun recording and editing process to celebrate how much we love these games in our own little way.
We can safely say it's among one of the best games we have ever played! It absolutely blew us away and we did not want it to end!
Easily a 10/10 game in our personal opinions.

This have been one incredible journey and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is absolutely one of our all time favourite games now.
Personally believe this is one of the greatest games ever made!
At some point we will return to Rebirth's world and do the hard mode. Absolutely can't wait for Part 3.

These games have impacted us greatly and It's been difficult trying to enjoy games after this! It was so good and easily among our favourite games!
The implications of Cloud not being able to deal with Aerith's death are huge. I can't wait to see in the final conclusion how we are gonna deal with that and also a lot of other things to come
I can't wait for part 3! This game have easily become one of my all time favourite games
Just as trauma made Cloud create a false persona inside him, it seems legit that he would create an image of Aerith inside his head as a sign of him not ready to let her go, aside from the theory that there may be more than one Aerith from different timelines. The glitches that Cloud is going through indicate the dialogue of the OG: "Aerith will no longer talk, no longer laugh, cry…or get angry…" I can't wait for the resolution in the third installment.
Between FF16's ending and Rebirth's ending I am pretty much emotionally damaged beyond repair at this point.
You, me and us all! It's been amazing to have these two games come out so close to one another! I almost don't feel like I'll get that spoiled with games ever again lol 😭😂❤

Sephiroth, Cloud and Aerith is the best of FFVII

The devs gave us a huge meta clue about where they're going with part 3 regarding this segment:
This game features neither the Princess Guard (Aerith's ultimate) nor the Great Gospel (her final limit). Both were present in this part of the original so you could use them before she leaves the party for good. Their conspicuous absence can only mean one thing.
They dropped hints in this chapter's cutscenes, too. Notice that when the glitching occurs after Cloud's deflection, the Masamune significantly changes angles to one where the clone would have intentionally stabbed it into the ground. The blood running down comes from the clone, not from Aerith. And for just a few frames, you can see blood pooling under the clone. Why? Because the clones must sacrifice to summon Jenova (see: Jenova Lifeclinger Assess info; they tell us this directly right after those scenes).
It's clear from the rest of the party that the events of the OG happened in one world, but that was never in question. We have now confirmed that a new one has been forged where she survived. Cloud is at least partially viewing that world, and sees the scar in the sky denoting that it's a side world with a doomed fate (for now).
I have no illusions that this will lead to a happy conclusion for everyone at the end. But I'm confident that not only have we not seen the last of her, but that we'll have Zack and Aerith as playable characters in the party at the same time in part 3.
Fun fact: the lifestream Aerith responsible for saving the world in the OG apparently gained the ability to pull people through worlds (seen repeatedly in the final sequence here). That ability seems to have emerged after defeating the Arbiter of Fate in Remake, and the very first thing she did with that power was go save Zack by pulling him (and a Cloud) into another world. She then used his power to block this new Sephiroth plot of ruling from the convergence, which was supposed to happen here (see: Sephiroth Reborn's Assess).
Sephiroth underestimated her. This time, she came prepared. He thought her part would be played, but she's just getting started.
I think it's more so the fact cloud just can't accept fate. We see it symbolised by the rainbow effect. When the angle of the sword changes, the rainbow effect dissapears. Its showing what ACTUALLY happened. The blood is leaking out of aeriths stomach, just like in OG. Sephiroth pulls the sword out of aerith. Cloud just refused to see it.
Personally I think she has to die one way or another. But atm I believe she's alive in Terrier timeline as that's the Zack that was looking for a way to save her by waking up Cloud. I also think we have already gotten a look past the part 3 game. From the hidden scene in Remake Intermission when Zack stand outside the church and then goes in to see everyon crying. I would not be suprised if that gets fleshed out in the part 3 and she died in a different way there. Can't wait for part 3 😭❤
@@CAeuJohno123 The rainbow effect is used multiple times in the game, and there isn't another place I can think of that it's concealing truth. It's used to denote world travel (multiple times in the final boss sequence, the end of the date scene in the church) and choice-based splits (Zack in the tunnels).
Go back and look again at the scenes. The blood is running toward Masamune's point, which means it's coming from the direction of the handle (and it's way too much to just be what dripped off it). Shortly thereafter you can see the clone standing holding the sword, and for a few frames (seriously it's less than a second), you can see tons of blood pooling under the clone. Aerith is too far away for any of that blood to be hers.
Sephiroth needed Cloud's despair to complete the confluence. That didn't happen, so his ploy failed here.
Cloud is apparently capable of peering into multiple worlds. He can see the "main" world where she did indeed die, but he can also see into one where she didn't. Notice in the ending sequences, Aerith responds two different ways to the Tiny Bronco. The first time, the blowback doesn't affect her at all like it does the others, and she wasn't even aware it happened. This is "force ghost" Aerith that is dead (see: Red sensing her). But in the final bit when Cloud is interacting with her, she is affected by the propeller's wind.
During the credits, the bits we see of her during the "force ghost" times are blank. But we see the one at the very end. Multiple things are simultaneously true here, which is why all the theories are only partially right.
@@BillyJohnBob I think you nailed it - the party member version we get is likely to be the Terrier one that was comatose this whole game. It's super unlikely that the quasi-omniscient lifestream Aerith is a standard party member.
There seems to be two likely paths for all this to resolve, based on dev comments that Advent Children is remaining canon. If that means this game needs to lead to AC the same as the original, all these new threads need to get wrapped up somehow. For instance, all other worlds collapse as the Arbiter is returned to function, and we say one final farewell to our flower girl as she disappears with her dying world.
OR, it remains canon because we're in a time loop, and AC actually happens prior to the Re: trilogy. In this case it doesn't need to follow that AC happens after, and they can write a whole new ending. This is more likely in my opinion due to Red's hint in the Remake finale - that the OG ending is what happens if they fail (and they didn't).
I don't expect at all that this option ends with Aerith alive in the "main" world either (Cloud is going to have to let go either way), but it's possible that the worlds can no longer unite, and a surviving Aerith and Zack are together elsewhere, yet forever out of reach of Cloud and the gang.
Of course the devs can change their minds. But they have signaled that they wanted finality and to maintain the bittersweet flavor and theme of loss from the OG, so it's probably going to be something along these lines.
Then again none of us predicted that Rebirth would open with a Zack segment, so who knows what they're cooking for us! So far this really is the best possible reimagining of this game. What a journey.
Thinking about it more, it's seeming like the rainbow effect might be denoting Lifestream Aerith's power being exerted. It happens in the tunnels with Zack because she needs him to choose that route. It happens each time she restores HP/MP to the party in the final boss rush, including when she appears to confront Sephiroth. It happens when she pushes Cloud through the church, but also when the white whispers are running interference in the forest afterward.
I also don't think it's coincidence that we saw the Weapons shifting from the typical magic green Materia glow to the same white that's of Holy and Lifestream Aerith. That's really the only notable event that occurs in that segment, and they thought it was important that we see it happen in the ending. Is Aerith co-opting the Weapons this time? Or is that the planet activating their "kill mode" instead of the scout mode they've been running so far? It's kind of difficult to discern whether certain things are the will of the planet or the will of Aerith. Probably intentional given how much she's tied to Lifestream White in the expanded materials.

-I hope you watch, not only the Aerith date, but the whole Loveless play with Aerith so you'll see the parallels. Cloud's reaction as she sings is also different.
-Aerith is also the default Rosa if you get Barret, Red and the trio (Caith Sith, Vincent and Cid) as dates. So 4 out of 6 dates.
-Cloud and Aerith also met at the "Loveless" street and under the "Loveless" poster in OG.
-Kitase said that "Hollow" is Cloud's song about his feelings and "No Promises to Keep" is about Aerith's feelings and he wanted players to pay attention to that.
-Loving someone beyond death is something that FF games are known for.

Thank you so much! We are going to play through Hard Mode where we will specifically aim for Aerith on the date. And when we have done it we will watch the rest of the dates also. We did not really want to stop playing the game even after almost 140 hours lol. Can't wait for the hard mode run tho and Part 3 is going to be SICK!

My brother and i played ffvii together back in the day and with being adults now and jobs etc...we could only meet on our 1 day off together to play remake back in 2020 and did the same this time for rebirth and this time my 12 year old played along with us. Watching yall play this has been very fruitful. We just finished the game about 2 weeks ago...gosh...still so heart wrenching. ❤️ 😢

When i got to the Jenova fight, i was an absolute mind-fried-crying mess, the story then to go directly into having to fight WITH AERITHS THEME playing had me putting the controller down for a god 10 minutes.
Then after the finale i was completely gone. I was questioning life and the meaning of it all lol such a pure emotional masterpiece.

The finale. So bitter sweet. The dream date sequence and the church scene was so emotional. Aerith’s theme kicking in with the Jenova fight was so beautifully haunting and hit straight in the feels. The Zack and cloud team up against Sephiorth, the final fight with Aerith! And of course, her goodbye. This game just kept on delivering making it a lifetime experience and it was such a joy to see you both on this journey, thank you for sharing with us 💛

One thing that I did slightly differently in my first playthrough: the part where the game has you mash the triggers on the controller during the scene at the altar, you see Cloud try and pull down his sword, struggling against the whispers. It becomes harder and harder, until the game takes over. It's such a small detail, but I was so surprised by how much the tactile action of struggling to press the triggers translated to Cloud's on-screen struggle.
I also loved the dream date and church scene as well! It broke me when she pushed us through the portal, and the last words we hear from her there are "It's been fun." 😢
27 years. Many fans have been carrying this deep sorrow for almost three decades. The way that they handled the altar scene was initially chaotic and confusing with the fake-out and subsequent dual timeline stuff. But then I realized that the point of this game is not to provide clear answers, but to set up for the finale. This will be a long wait, but looking forward to it all the same! 😊

Love Advent Children. Although personally I feel like alot of the dialogues are weird I loved alot of the plot points and the action scenes are crazy!

I watched this whole gameplay with Max Dood, which I casually took me over 3 months to finish but once we got to the final battle, boy did we get kicked in the guts once again afer watching it. I'm not watching other gaming channels react to the ending. I've watched RogersBase, Phillip Harshom Gaming and now you guys - I love a good emotional reaction video. Also, more reasons to subscribe. I'm really looking forward to FF7-3 when it comes out in a few years. We get to all enjoy the wait, the trailers, the conspiracy theories and the lore all over again! I'll miss you Aerith - true hero of FF7! Special shoutout to the soundtrack department - the remake versions of a lot of theme songs - wow, chef's kiss!! This is my current favorite FF OST on par with FF12, 6 and 13.

I watched you both played this live on Twitch. It was emotional for me to watch as well. Now, I’ve been a fan of FF7 since 1997. Yes, I’m old. And I’ve been waiting for YEARS to see an HD remake and yes, lots of people don’t like the direction where the devs went for the remake trilogy but damn, it’s pure phucking genius in my book. I don’t want a 1 for 1 remake. I want something that pushes me to think even deeper and move me more than how I ever did back in 1997. And the devs truly did that. Remake and Rebirth exceeded all my expectations. I laughed, I cried, I hated, I loved. Maybe it’s not fair for the newer generation of players who didn’t play OG because it’ll be harder for them to relate to the story and these characters who we OG players grew up with for so many years. Regardless, Remake and Rebirth are masterpieces in my book. I can’t wait to see for the next installment. Thanks for the video and till we meet again. ❤

Im so happy u had Hollow and have it be on aerith focused. Cos that was what I thought when I read the lyrics. That the song was cloud to aerith.

Fun fact. Aerith remembered Cloud saying, he prefers a "simple" date, which means just a walk. And in their last date, they had a simple walk for a date, which Cloud enjoyed. He knew that Aerith is behaving different so he tried to put her out of her thoughts which is why he pointed at the photographer.
And the Handholding at the end after Sephiroth, is called Koibito Tsunagi. They did that on their Skywheel date and its pretty much canon that they are "Lovers". Cloud and Aerith are Typical japanese couple who dont kiss or say "I love you". Its how they behave, body language, never deny they are a couple, girlfriend or boyfriend and lots of dates.
In the CDs of Rebirth, the song of their last date is No Promises to keep, but also its called in the CD "One last date" which pretty much confirms that No Promises to keep is a lovesong from Aerith to Cloud.
Also... the White Materia is not just Holy. Its white because there is all the memories of Aerith and probably also the memories of her mother. Aerith thanked Cloud not only to return it to her because its white, but because she got the last Date memory with Cloud before her death which she knew she would die, but she hoped she would return to the others. QwQ
So many theories and can't wait for Part 3 :) Nanaki confirmed earlier in Rebirth that materias are essentially memories.

This was the only game I’ve ever played that made me cry my eyes out. I felt like this hit me way harder than og did. Beautiful reaction, I’m glad I’m not alone as being someone who cried.
This is very relatable! As much as I love the OG one. I personally feel this game elavates more or less everything up to this point in the game and I loved everything about it. Hit every feeling and really didn't want it to end.

It's not that people don't like that Aerith died, but they don't like that they obscured it and made it a confusing scene, so it didn't hit for some people. I wasn't emotional at the end at all, but the OG still makes me cry every time. So yeah, that's why some people don't like the ending. I was left feeling empty. Like they sacrificed the emotional climax of Rebirth for part 3. It didn't hit for me, when it was supposed to hit the most. BUT I love that it hit for you! And I LOVE what this ending does for Cloud and part 3, just thought it could've been done a different way. And I LOVE this game still. One of my all time favorites. Top 2 even, right after Final Fantasy 14 due to Shadowbringers and Endwalker PEAK fiction. (My favorite story of all time)

Will be very exciting to see where they are going in part 3! I honestly hope they force us as players to walk down into the water and have to push something that says let go or something for Aerith. That would be so hearbreaking.
Cid humming the FF1 theme song while fixing the Tiny Bronco is awesome! SE is really going ham on making Cloud's little memory issue become a full blown PTSD split personality this time around. He's the only one that sees Aerith awake when she's on the ground before and after the fights, and I'm guessing the fight with Cloud+Aerith vs Sephiroth is also in his head. When they are leaving, again he's the only one who sees her. Almost like he's gone insane or that Jenova has made him go insane, and he cannot accept that she has died. Much like we couldn't back in the 90s when there was so many rumors that you could bring her back in the OG. The scene in the church on Disk 3 didn't help that rumor though! If part 3 plays out that Cloud doesn't remember laying Aerith to rest in the lake and unlocks that memory, he is going to lose it and have a complete breakdown. This is setting up the part 3 memory recovery scenes with Tifa for some very emotional parts.
I have a feeling part 3 will be completely insane! Can't wait for it. I hope they play some seriously hard tricks on his mind and also us players. One of the biggest hopes I have is that we as players are being forced at the end of the game to forcefully "let go" by having Cloud walk into the water and finally get a promt to let her go. I would absolutely loose it lol.

2:10:56 no she is definitely alive. Just in another world. Notice how Cloud sees the rift in the sky at the end and Aerith doesn’t? Cloud can see two worlds at once and experience them both all at the same time. The world where the party currently is in is doomed. But the world where Aerith survives is safe. Because there is no rift in the sky. That’s why Aerith is smiling as she sees the Tiny Bronco fly off because she has nothing to fear and everything will be okay in the end. The worlds need to merge again with the world that has been reborn (Aerith living world) if the party hopes to survive because if not they all die. This is why the game is called Rebirth btw. Its literally referred to the world where Aerith is alive. A completely new world that is full of hope and happiness.
Sephiroth can actually gaslight Cloud for real in the next game by using Aerith’s death against him to confuse him. But Cloud did actually save Aerith. Its really confusing. But you will see the signs that points to her survival. Cloud is not in denial or unable to accept her death. He is the only one that can see Aerith because he breached the gate ALONE. And we know that Aerith is not an illusion because Red can actually sense her.
Personally I think she is alive in the terrier timeline that have been reffered to many times ever since Remake. And also that's the one Zack actively goes after a way to try wake up Cloud and have him save Aerith. I do however think she is gonna die anyway. I believe she is a necassary sacrifice for the overral plot and story. I also believe we have already seen a scene after Part 3 and that it was the scene with Zack at the end of Remake Intermission. He stand outside the church practicing how to greet Aerith before opening and running in. Just to be met with people crying and what looks like to be withering flowers. This scene have not had the time in the overral plot to fit in in remake or rebirth yet. I'm pretty sure she survived Sephirots stab but overral she will need to die later on.

I know this ending seems abit sad at first but after awhile you will realize its actually a happy ending. Its because we are not seeing the full picture. Aerith will definitely be in the next game and be reunited with Cloud again 100%. Loveless play and NPTK foreshadows this. There’s are also ALOT of easter eggs since Remake that hints that Cloud and Aerith will get married and have a child. In the Rebirth Ultimania there is concept art of Cloud and Aerith living together and they are both wearing their Advent Children outfits.

Honestly, this reaction is one of the most touching and genuine I've ever witnessed. The way you let your emotions go free when Aerith dies, was just so beautiful to watch. It just hits you to the core, whether you know the story or not. And it's a genius stroke - even though a cruel punch in the gut - to have her theme played in the boss fight, giving you a rollercoaster of emotions. Keep it up, guys! 👍

BUT I am so glad the game keeps to the theme of loss and the game hit like a truck for us. Lol when the theme hit during the boss battle it was just one thing to do and it was to pause the game 😂

@@BillyJohnBob some people don't like this ending because Aerith kinda lives on, either in other timelines or in Cloud's head. So her death and the sense of loss feel less absolute than in the OG. While I understand their concerns, you have to keep in mind that it's not actually a 1:1 remake with better graphics but a reimagining of the FF7 story. We know Aerith's story and how it ends, so you need to reinvent certain aspects of it in order to keep it fresh and surprising for us long time fans as well as for newcomers too. So I'm really looking forward to part 3 how they will resolve many of the open questions of Rebirth.
Its nice watching two grown ass bearded men being emotional about this scene :D I finished Rebirth myself a few days ago. But i gotta admit that this multiverse stuff is really confusing. So my brain didnt really knew what to do at this final scene 😢

Would love that, but it can't happen. They already said that Advent Children would not be undone by these games. The events will remain the same, meaning Aerith still dies. Again it would be nice but it ain't going to happen. I love Aerith but she needs to die and stay dead ....

This story goes a lot deeper than we can assess right now and if they are trying to do, what I think they will, she will be back while AC will still be canon. Sounds crazy but that's what I think. I'd need a whole essay to explain my chain of arguments on why I think that so I'll leave it here. I think part 3 will be the game of the century, it's gonna be insane.

I feel like at some point in part 3, probably when Tifa pieces Cloud back together, that is when we will see the actual events of the forgotten capital including the missing funeral scene. Which I feel will put this to rest and Aerith will be truly dead. Again ... if they can pull off what you are saying I would not be against it ... I haven't played all the new EC stuff that came out so I guess when I get there I may come to the same or similar realization that you have.

I was on chapter 12. I played the OG, but I had the false hope they created for this. After the spoil I got a really bad anxious dread of what I now knew for sure was going to happen. Like I was naive for hoping, now I am just getting closer to the horror.
That feeling was actually kindof good tho, like all the goodbyes that happen in ch13 and 14 hit hard. So I did not mind the spoil too much.
People were also upset about the ending of Remake because they thought she might live. But of course some people are upset about the ending of Rebirth. Because it was heavily hinted that she could live. In both Remake ending and the Rebirth promotions. I wouldn't call people wanting a beloved character who had their live taken prematurely "Fucked up in the head." Especially when the original story was not happy at all. Aerith's life was taken prematurely, Cloud suffers from her death for years, and has not stopped trying to find the promised land to find her.
Especially when theres so many fucked up "fans" excited for her death. Mostly because all they care about is wanting Cloud to be with Tifa. Your partner even expressed not wanting her to die again. I wouldn't call that "Fuck up in the head" at all.
I also don't see why she "has to die." Because she didn't have to for holy. And she originally wasn't going to die at all.
Maybe she will stay dead. But if she doesn't, people have the original to play with the depressing ending if that's what they like.
But honestly, the people who WANT her dead seems way more fucked up than the people who want her alive because they care about her, and Cloud's well being.
I think the whole idea of loss and the way it's being portrayed is way more interesting for me personally. Having her survive just isn't my preferred way in the story. Not every ending needs to be a happy conclusion imo. Also she having to die is more in tune with the whole idea of her being in the life stream and controlling things from there. Now we won't get those answers until part 3. Probably unless they do something with the Ever Crisis game. Also thats probably the whole point of people believing they could save her by giving the narrative of false hope for old players while still keeping it mysteries for new players. Personally I think it was incredibly well done. Fucked up in the head probably came out wrong lol but yeah I am definitely fucked up in the head myself for wanting her to die not gonna lie. The fucked up comment was poorly worded. Now for me personally I want her to die and that's not because of Tifa but the theme and narrative. As much as I love her also. I just think that has a bigger impact than a happy go lucky story that is basically everywhere. We both wanted to "save" her but we're still glad it happened regardless. 😅
Also if they take this game in a direction that she where to live in a timeline with Zack or Cloud or whatever. I also wouldn't loose my complete shit. We've said we don't want a copy paste of the original multiple times. But I do think the core themes and such should stay the same. It always felt like 7 was about loss, eco Terrorism, self identity and how to deal with all of these things.. I don't think it's gonna happen she stays alive. But I still think she's alive for now in one timeline namely tbe Terrier one. I just don't think she keep staying alive there either.

Especially since so many people now hate her for no reason/care more about playng the game like a dating simulator than they care about the main story. But one thing that I've also been disappointed about the OG ending is that it's a sad and depressing ending, and didn't really seem to be helpful for people who have experienced loss. At least for me. So it's just seems sad just to be sad and that's it. Because even Cloud doesn't ever really move on. Can't really say I have seen alot of people hate her lol. The game definately doesn't play like a dating sim. It has one element to it and that is the date thing that also the og one had.
Personally I just liked the ending and will always treasure that one. Also the director orignally wanted to kill more characters so theres that lol. Nomura convinced Kitase and writer Kazushige Nojima to leave the deaths at one.
Nevertheless I think Part 3 is going to be great and interresting :) They also said they are going to respect the original so that's going to be fun going from here with the new twists and turns :)
When the OG came out no one had such a strong bias towards one of the 2 girls. And her death was shocking. No one expected it. Now most people know/have been spoiled about her death. And most of the vocal fan base seems to be part of the shipping wars. And Aerith and Cloud are very popular in Japan but seemingly everywhere else Tifa is more popular. And because of that a lot of people don't really care about her death/want Aerith to die. I heard more about Tifa in a bikini and the kiss than anything else including Aerith's death.
And the majority of the people Ive seen who already knew she was probably going to die in Rebirth cared more about dating Tifa than they cared about spending the last moments with Aerith, or the main story. And even in official trailers/promotions I've seen a lot of "can't wait to see Aerith get stabbed" comments. Almost every FF7 content I come across has a lot of Aerith hate like that.
the devs were literally being threatened with murder if they didn't kill Aerith. And canceling their orders because there was "too much AerithxCloud moments in the game".
Her death is almost meaningless now. The majority of so called fans want her dead. Whether for a tragic story, or because they ship CloudxTifa and think Cloud would choose to be with her if she was still alive.
When so many people want her to be dead, whatever the reason, it has hardly any impact or meaning anymore.
I believe most of the fans of the original want the death scene the stay pure for the specific theme of the game. Gonna be honest I see very little of these comments you're saying you're seeing. Most of what I've seen about whats its "negative" have been og the game is bloated with too much content ( also like why is this even a complaint but okay ) or oh no the lighting effects are hitting the character models faces in a bad way.
We're definately not looking at the same creators or in the same comment sections lol. Maybe it's different here in Norway but everyone I've ever talked to love Aerith and sure loves Tifa too. But for the most part all of my friends always picked Aerith whenever there was a " favourite"
I want her to stay dead for the themes of the first. That's all. No I don't want another game where everyones happy and go lucky and shit at the end. That's more or less every other media. Threatening anyone is trash obviously and should never be a thing. However that is not the majority of the games fanbase. It's some sick individuals here and there just like in every other fanbase. Sadly there is always those that take it too far. But again I can't say I've seen all these claims so.
I don't think her death is meaningless. For now we can't really say anything as the story is not complete. It would be to judgle the overral whole story of Lord of the rings if we ended the whole thing on Two Towers.

I feel for tifa so hard for some reason over the other characters after the loss of their friend… unlike cloud, she is grounded in reality and has to deal with what happened as well as witnessing cloud struggling to deal with reality - all while continuing the mission
I so hope we will get a lot of focus on her pain and how she us stuggling in part 3. Tifa was incredible in this game 😭❤
Cloud really cant accept her death. he created a reality in his head that aerith is still alive. And on the jenovalifeclinger boss everyone in the party has a limit break except cloud because cloud isnt angry that aerith died and the party is super angry. And sephiroth will definitely atack cloud with letting him think aerith survived to make his head even worse. When cloud reflects sephiroth s sword we see that cloud saved aerith but thats just from cloud s perspective
Part 3 is going to be so insane with how he is going to deal with this! I truly hope they mess with both us as players and Cloud incredibly much! I would love to have the moment when he is being pieced together by tifa basically give us a cutscene where you have to forcefully controll Cloud into the water and let Aerith go! That would wreck me lol

Took me 48 hours after finishing to really let the ending sink in, and dude when I tell you I broke, I mean it. My brother thought I was faking it until he saw my face and he asked what was wrong. I just said "Aerith" and he knew. It's not as impactful as the OG moment, but it was still enough to shatter me like glass. The flower girl is just special, man, idk.
She truly is! I love her so much! What an amazing character. Personally I think this one was probably more impactful for me. I just felt way more connected to her lol and probably because I was relatively young when I played the OG one.

my only gripe with the game was the insane amount of minigames and the difficulty of many of them. Oh and the the fact that people essentially got remake for free with them bundling them for the same price as just buying rebirth. Because I have now had to buy 2 different consoles paying full price for each game. Where as people that had no interest in playing until now got to save 600 dollars.
Personally I did not mind it as much! Maybe a few of them and other than that I kinda wish maybe for example the 3D brawler one could have an easier setting and the sit ups one lol
The pricing I don't mind tbh. I feel like for games of this scale it's a fair price. The Twin Pack in my opinion 4 years later it makes sense the first would be way cheaper anyways so to sort of throw that in for me just makes sense.
