- With lost time on the mind due to enforced pandemic travel restrictions, our old friend Garret Wall led a group of Gunwerks hunters to Africa during May 2022.
For Garrett it would mark 10 years of adventures with us in Africa, while his brother-in-law Jason Calder was embarking on his very first trip to the dark continent. The boys teamed up with PH's Carl Van Zyl and Martin Neuper, and together with their trusty Gunwerks systems once again treated the crew to some incredible shots within a target rich environment like few places can offer on earth.
Wildebeest, Kudu, Gemsbuck, Vaal Rhebuck and much more. Gunwerks were back... And back with a BANG!

I think it's one of the best hunts I have seen. The video is the 👌. It will take n lot to beat. I watch 100 of videos n week. I deleted them all. Good job Karl your the man.

I know ethical one shot kills aren`t always possible but these guys clearly hunt with that first and foremost in mind...very clear to see that many many hours of practice have been put in here!

I would love to go on another Africa hunt. Just got my springbok back from the taxidermist it was a very complicated process to get it from Africa to New York. Tasted amazing! I’m only 23 so I definitely see atleast 10-25 more Africa trips. Looks amazing next to my 9 Pointer on the wall. Can’t decide to hunt kudu or roan next. I used my bergara 300 prc 215 grain federal terminal acsent. Great results

I really enjoy watching your videos but oh man, that never ending music! -its just so irritable! I mean I don't mind some soft background music with the intro and end but it really is quite painful to watch at times. I have noticed an improvement after my last comment but unfortunately it's becoming an irritant again! The camera work is very good but unfortunately spoiled by the never ending music. I watch dozens of hunting videos and some of them especially those done in the US and Europe are very enjoyable and not hindered with crappy music. Why is this so common in SA? It is honestly not enjoyable to watch-such a pity. That being said, I'm actually a music lover but hey man! everything has a place and time.
