• Butterfly Stretch for ...
Butterfly strech is one of the best yoga practice.
Need this before I return to taekwondo training
update, I can't freaking stand straight bc it hurts sm (〒﹏〒)
Me but for Muay Thai
@@min.1965 How's your practice man?
@@min.1965hope your flexibility has opened up since your original comment!
I think im blessed as its effortless and painless going all the way down, feet at groin, easily. Some burn when leaning all the way foward, but ive been doing this for 5 minutes, even while writing this comment 😂
I couldn't do it after months of training.
Same, I can do this easily since I was a kid. But sadly I am not flexible any other way 😢
Nice for someone who is flexibil.
But what to do if my pelvis is soo tight that I can't even sit in yoga position???
Squat and walking down on the stairs is just a torment for me.
I'm desperate.
All these problems occurred after a manual physiotherapy / chiropractic
manipulation.
My pelvic floor and left psoas became very tight after those "traitements".
💔
Grabbing the toes is counter-indicated on this stretch as is rounding the back so much. Set up positioning on the sit bones, being aware of potential for injury from improperly doing this exercise is important.
Can you progressively bring your knees down to the ground doing this stretch or is there something else to help with that..I need to be able to bring my knees down to be able to get into certain positions for training. Although I will definitely be adding this one into my stretch routine.
Yes, you can progressively bring them down. That's the motion you're aiming for, just most people can't do that.
another tip is to squeeze the glutes while pushing the knees down
MY knees have always been able to hit the floor and the really isn't mu h of a stretch for me, but my hips feel uneven when I walk or run. Is there another stretch that can help stretch the outside of my hips ? Or any suggestions.
In yoga, they will sit on a yoga block to elevate themselves before pushing their hips to the ground. You can try that to increase the amount of stretch.
Did it for 3 mins try to beat my record
I can lean all the way foward and my knees always hit the floor. But if I do this for 3 minutes everyday, will it make a difference in my body?
Is there a goal you have for doing this exercise? It doesn't sound like you have hip tightness.
@@COREChiropracticHouston I want my thighs to be more silmer and toned that's my goal
@@manuellatheumbrella you probably won't read this because it's 10 months ago but make sure you're lifting weights and eating enough calories that's gonna build muscle and lose fat
Too many clients bend back and I like to straighten my back as I move legs in
My iner thighs hurt when I do it I have never completed
So I searched up the butterfly stretch and I wanted to ask does this stretch slim inner thighs?
No, it doesn't help with slimming
@@COREChiropracticHouston I thought it helped with slimming though, uhm bUt does it at least help with turning your legs towards outside like twisted legs from sitting too much?
@@kpoptingz4915 - it's a stretch, so it will help people that sit too much.
@@COREChiropracticHouston okay thx
Thank you for being realistic with your viewers! I came here to better my flexibility for jiu jitsu and I’m glad you’re giving out no bs info.
I feel some sort of stinging pain at the bottom of my spine on one side it hurts so bad
Don't keep doing it if it's causing sharp pain. Or do as much as you can before the stinging pain starts, as it likely means you're going too far.
Fellow One Piece pfp?
Do u lean all the way foward?
Probably tough to do if you haven't been doing it a very long time, but you can. With stretching, it's about feeling a non-painful stretch and being consistent about it.
No, keep your back straight as possible
30 seconds but you do want to build up to 60 minuets
