I'm praying for God's sweet peace & comfort to ease your grief & broken heart. I lost my mom 3 years ago, & I still miss her so much in every way & everyday.
It is supper easy to make homemade, and it freezes great. We like cranberry sauce with pork also, so I keep it year round. You can buy them when they are on sale and just put the bags in the freezer until you want to cook them.
My grandmother taught me to peel apples with a paring knife. We had contests to see who could peel their apple all the way around with no breaks in the peel!
It's great having y'all back! I definitely will be trying each of these recipes. AND, just want to share with you that hearing you say "fifty-eleven times" stirred up some beautiful memories of family members who, sadly, are long gone "home." I’ve always used a paring knife when I have to peel an apple. My grandmother taught me how to do things like that and she had no fancy peeler so that’s it I use a knife. All these recipes look so good!❤️
Dear Sweet Mandy, I love your show. I binge watch all the time you and hubby are a great team . First thing I said was, needs gravy. Gotta do this. I'm alone and will be perfect for freezing a couple extra meals for later. You guys are awesome. Thanks for all you do for us.
I haven't had stuffing since forever. I don't celebrate the holidays so I could just make it just because. TFS The sound went out on the last recipe 😢 but it looked so good and I just know it tasted as good as it looked ❤
Two things: 1st: I really only use a peeler gadget for peeling carrots. Potatoes and apples I peel with a knife. And 2nd: I made the Apple, onion and sausage casserole today after church. Prep, cooking and on the table in under an hours easily! Things I changed: I cut the recipe in half for everything except the sausage. I used a full pound even though I cut the recipe in half and I do not regret it. To me it was perfect. I used a full teaspoon of my homegrown/home freeze dried thyme because I love thyme. All the rest I followed the recipe using the correct half called for. I’m trying the first recipe in this video later this week. Thank you!
I commented on one of your older videos but I don’t think you saw you it since so many people comment. Lol. I tried your green bean recipe but instead of bacon I diced a couple links of garlic kiolbassa sausage (you could also use andouille for a little spice). I didn’t drain my green beans so that I could add a Tablespoon or so of chicken flavored better than bouillon. I served it with a side of cornbread and it was a whole meal. Absolutely delicious. I will never make green beans any other way. Thanks so much the original recipe - even though I adjusted it a little bit I never would have known to try it at all without your recipe. Thanks so much. Blessings
Apple sausage stuffing is my favorite stuffing! Your recipe is basically the same recipe I learned to make over 30 years ago. Love this video, thank you for these recipes!
My Wife and I had the first meal this evening. So good! Took Steven's suggestion and drizzled some turkey gravy over. Mandy, your cranberry suggestion was a hit. Thank you both for an awesome meal. We are adding this one to the list.
Your second recipe is reminiscent of my parent’s Thanksgiving stuffing. They always used Pepperidge Farm stuffing along with celery, onion, apples, Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, chicken or turkey broth, a couple of eggs and a little more poultry seasoning or sage. It’s not Thanksgiving for me without that stuffing! YUM!
mandy, i make a sausage apple stuffing every single year for thanksgiving! i don’t use the premade stuffing mix. I make up some cornbread and then dry it out and then add jimmy deans hot sausage, green apples, celery, onion, and sage. i can honestly say that anytime anyone has ever had it they’ve been blown away. i think some people have misconceptions about stuffing and that it’s dry and bland, but not this one!!
I just made the Chicken Cordon Bleu last night and my family really loved it! I used a whole box of Bell’s Stuffing and in addition to the butter, I used about a cup of chicken broth in the stuffing to moisten it a bit. I used a lot of chicken and Virginia ham. Next time I may use 2 cans cream of celery. THANK YOU it was a keeper and my grown son, Billy, did a go-backer….twice!
Awesome video. They all look so delicious. I'm going have to try the first one. The last few minutes the volume was so low I couldn't hear you and Steven talking ❤
I made thie Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole this afternoon and oh, my, goodness was it delicious! Definitely will make again for sure! Thanks Mandy and Steven! 👍👍💕 Terri Gossett
Definitely making the first one turkey tender loin for thanksgiving and the second one with sausage for Christmas side and the third on with ham for a week night dinner 🎉🎉🎉 ty so much for these recipes ❤❤
I was taught to use a paring knife around 8 years old..for most everything..apples potatoes, cucumbers,tomatoes.. Anything that you peel..have never used a peeler..I have watched people use a peeler..I can have my food peeled at least twice as fast as the people using a peeler
When I first married, my MIL taught me her recipe for 'potato dressing' (she was from Reading, PA). It was delicious but was a lot of work and I decided if I wanted to have this recipe more often then I had to shorten the work. My shortened recipe would have upset my MIL but this was so much faster. Make mashed potatoes and then make a box of Stove Top dressing (any flavor). Mix potatoes and dressing together and place mixture in a 9 X 13 baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. Delicious.
We usually do a potluck dinner for Thanksgiving out at our mom's. When we have a turkey dinner, I usually make a sausage and whole berry cranberry sauce stuffing using Stove Top.
The third one is my favourite and I hope to use stuffing mix soon. I have to say that I keep expecting Gracie to turn up waiting for her cheese bless her. The pain of losing your beloved pets is awful. I had a King Charles Cavalier spaniel called Archie who didn’t make it to his 6th birthday and after going through the upset I said never again. However I soon changed my mind and my little fluffy baby will be 10 in February even though he acts like a puppy. He’s a Cavapoo named Chester who is practically joined to my son’s hip!! 💜
Honestly that Turkey with gravy in the crockpot looked so good - I think I would just make the stuffing separately and serve the turkey and gravy over the top!
❤ Love Stuffing, Dressing any time. Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday. The first recipe I feel I would like the best with extra gravy for sure. Hope you all have a good weekend!

Husband loves sausage. I had boxed stuffing that needed used. Thanks for suggesting using a lb of sausage which I totally agree. I’m glad I took that advice. I backed off and only see one box of stuffing. (Cut stock in1/2) One box of stuffing was plenty for the texture I wanted. Anise seed goes wonderful with sausage, also added dry thyme and pepper. Did not need any salt. Already thinking of ways to change this up more. If anyone loves fennel like we do I plan on chopping up a fennel bulb. Thank you for the quick and flavorful recipe. I have a #12 cast iron frying pan, worked perfectly and it makes it I a one pot meal.
I'm definitely making all 3. I'll make the first recipe on Thanksgiving day. I'm having Thanksgiving with my 3 boys and 2 grandsons on the 16th. 2 of my boys' gun deer hunt. Then they'll be with their dad's family on Thanksgiving. I usually have it the Saturday after Thanksgiving day. But I Thanksgiving is so late this year. I didn't want to make a big meal so close to Christmas. The stuffing recipe would be great with a pork loin. I'll probably not put any sausage into the stuffing. That third recipe will be a great dish to make between my Thanksgiving dinner and Thanksgiving day. Have a wonderful weekend. See you next Friday . Try this new nonGMO apple. It's sweet tango. I don't particularly like granny smith apples at all. This sweet tango is sweet/tart. I had to try it to see if I'm going to use it for my Thanksgiving. It's delicious. The combination of the sweet/tart is spot on. It holds its shape without being hard or mushy. This apple will always be my go to for any recipe calling for apples ❤❤
@bonniepwtf my 28 year old son is particular about apples. He devoured the apples that I didn't use. For the first time, my pie top crust held up to the big pile of apples that I had in the pie. It was a juicy pie with a bottom crust that actually held up without doing a blind bake first.
Great video! I absolutely love the idea of offering several different stuffings as stuffing is always the most popular side at Thanksgiving. I love the apples n' onions sausage stuffing. I would use spicy sausage and call it sweet heat stuffing. I have a feeling that these recipes will be on many a holiday table this year. ❤
Looking forward to trying all 3 .look delicious.hate we missed Steven's comments on the last one looked like he had a lot to say 😂.God Bless have a wonderful week ❤️
I love stuffing. One of my fav ways to use it besides the normal recipes, is to brown up some of the jimmy dean sage flavored sausage and mix it with the savory herb flavored stuffing and use it to stuff mushrooms. they are so yummy
Mandy, you always give new ideas on how to change leftovers, chicken, or turkey. I did the turkey stuffing first, I had bought 2 turkey breasts and gosh you did that exactly when I was looking for some receipts. I forgot to mention something: Your receipt with green beans and bacon is also something we do here because of your original idea. We both loved it a lot. Thank you so much.
I would love to them all ❤I hope you and your hubby have a blessed day and I watch your channel when I'm getting sad y'all help me with your videos and the way y'all have fun together in the kitchen it's such a blessing for me to always smile again during your show ty tons of love and prayers hugs also
I'm making the first one today, but using chicken (had 2 whole chicken breasts on hand). On your advice, I popped a can of cranberry sauce into the freezer to chill down. Thanks for your delightful work and for Stephen's commentary! We lost an entire fridge worth of food last June after a tornado left us without power for over eight days. Swepco was busy that month, as I'm sure they are where you are. God bless and you're in our prayers!
Oh Mandy, Mandy, Mandy...😂 I had been so tired and had given up on the stuffing. You put me back on the saddle again. These recipes are worth forgiving my menace and giving them another try. Thank you!!🤗
Score! I needed an idea for tonight. I believe I have all the ingredients so the chicken and dressing is on. I will have to put the Italian sausage one on my shopping list. My husband will like that one bunches. Thanks again for the inspiration.
The last recipe sounds and looks delicious I love stove top stuffing I usually have it for my side dish with my fried pork chops. I also bake it in my oven and it comes out with a crispy top. Thank you so much for the new recipes.
These recipes all look delicious! I can’t wait to try the sausage, apple and onion one! I always use a paring knife to peel my apples- my Nana taught me when I was a little girl! Lots of love to you and your family 🌻
Definitely made my mouth water, that last one would definitely help my family cuz my husband likes ham and I like turkey . So it sure would help around Thanksgiving time.😊❤
I love stuffing and often make it as a side instead of potatoes. These recipes are right up my alley, and I know my family is going to them. Thank you, Mandy, for sharing these today. In regards to the peeler /paring knife argument, I am with Mandy. I am totally hopeless with a peeler and use a paring knife to peel any skins. You do well, though, Steven, with the peeler. Have a wonderful weekend! ❤😊
I can’t wait to try these! We’ve done the turkey and stuffing one many times and I’m looking forward to the others. I use a paring knife 🔪 to peel my apples 🍎 only I go around horizontally, in one long, curly strip 😁 (Pepperidge Farm is my favorite too!)
I know ..I know I have been using a paring knife around the age of 8..never seen anyone peep an apple from top to bottom. .I peel my apples in a circular motion..usually able to make one large spiral..
My Mother-in-law always cut up an apple in her stuffing. It adds moisture and Honey Crisp is perfect because they taste like apple cider; not as sweet and hold up well to eating or cooking. It would also make your Stovetop Stuffing taste more like homemade. I make lots of stuffing all year round. I will be trying that Sausage Casserole but we like breakfast sausage best so I’ll go for that. Thanks for the great recipes!
Heya Mandy! I went out to get the ingredients for the 1st recipe. I am going to add a layer of mashed potatoes under the stuffing mix. Yes, I bought cranberry sauce (in a can😅,) and bought a packet a turkey gravy. I think this is going to be a winner. Thank you for the idea! 😊

They all look delicious! I always use a paring knife to peel my apples.
Your hubby is funny! Lol He loves to eat your cooking! 🧡🍂🧡🍁🧡🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Yes!! Just in time to watch over my lunch break!
I would love to them all ❤I hope you and your hubby have a blessed day and I watch your channel when I'm getting sad y'all help me with your videos and the way y'all have fun together in the kitchen it's such a blessing for me to always smile again during your show ty tons of love and prayers hugs also
Three great recipes. I use herb stovetop stuffing to make a delicious meatloaf. I always have a box of stuffing in my pantry.
You guys are so sweet and fun to watch! And bless you all for dealing with some of the after affects of Hurricane Helene.
Thank you!!🤗
Your presentation and attention to detail make cooking seem less intimidating! This dish was perfect! ❤
Score! I needed an idea for tonight. I believe I have all the ingredients so the chicken and dressing is on. I will have to put the Italian sausage one on my shopping list. My husband will like that one bunches. Thanks again for the inspiration.
Mandy, when using fresh thyme hold the stem and peel the leaves backwards. Works like a charm! Love the stuffing recipes!
The last recipe sounds and looks delicious I love stove top stuffing I usually have it for my side dish with my fried pork chops. I also bake it in my oven and it comes out with a crispy top. Thank you so much for the new recipes.
Can’t wait to make the one with turkey and cranberry sauce!
Ok should have waited until the end to comment because I am definitely going to try the last one first. That looks delicious! Have a great weekend!!
Thank you gfor mellowing out the camera work. Stuffing casseroles, sound very pre-season. TFS
So it sure would help around Thanksgiving time.😊❤
All three of these sound and look amazing. Thanks for all you share.
My family love stuffing anytime thanks Mandy for the new recipes ❤
Tbese look really yummy.😋 I would likely make 1 & 3 because hubby wouldn't want apples in his. Thanks gor share!! ❤
All 3 looked great but I will try the third one first. Yummy!
Mummmm, all the recipes looks so good. I will definitely try them all because my husband loves Stove Top stuffing. Thank you for sharing.
Looks very delicious and my picky hubby would eat these!! Def a Win Win! ❤
That's exactly my stuffing I make for Thanksgiving ( the sausage one) I use the Pepperigd farm and I also add celery😊❤
I can't wait to make these recipes! Thank you Mandy!!
I'm now taking left over rotisserie chicken and chicken gravy and stuffing in my crock pot for lunch!
Thank you for the idea!!
Since you all loved the last one cordon bleu (sp) 🤪🤪 that’s the one I’m trying first!! Love you guys❣️❣️Glad your safe from the hurricane and that you now have power❤❤
These all look so good. I've been wanting some new casserole recipes! Thanks
