Ahhh i love this! It carries the game's emotion from the original in the piano really well. I salute you! When i learn piano eventually i'd like to play this one too. -w-
This is the best Piano Cover for one of the best Videogame soundtracks (Of one of the, if not, Best Videogame of all time!) that I've ever heard! Would love to see you do more covers for Xenoblade, amazing work!
This is such a beautiful arrangement. I hope that with the release of the Definitive Edition many more will find your video. Also cannot thank you enough for the sheet music and the design, it's keeping me motivated to learn this.
One of my favorite songs from my favorite game and one of my favorite transcriptions on the piano. I love it. Thanks for providing the sheets and for your transcription, it's so much fun to play the song on the piano :3 thank you
Ahh niceeeee. I'm so glad you did this! Very accurate to the in-game song. Most of the other versions I've seen on youtube aren't very accurate. I can't wait to download and play. For a while, I personally was arranging gaur plains with an aim on accuracy. I got most of the hard stuff done, but just lost motivation. Was just like meh. Didn't feel like finishing it or anything. :(. I still have it though, and could start again, but am just like meh.
I know what you mean with accuracy, I've also tried arranging other Xenoblade songs and it always happens that you have to sacrifice percussion and some other elements for the sake of making it playable. Gaur plains is specially tough in that sense, but it should be possible to make it sound good :p Thanks for your comment, it really means a lot!
Bleckpo Oops, noticed a mistake I made. When I said "other versions" I meant other Xenoblade songs. This is the first time I've heard this song. Gaur Plains sounds pretty good, but actually learning how to play it on the piano will be more of an effort. I could just upload the mp3 saved from Sibelius, I guess. Maybe I'll finish it up some day when I'm bored?
+kennikyofficial Same here XD! Arranging in this matter is working it out by ear and sounding it out through your notation software of choice. A free notation software you can get is finale notepad. It's pretty junky, but it beats handwriting/using piano for reference. Though, Sibelius is probably the best to use, but it costs hundreds of US dollars. I hear it can be torrented though.
You made me start playing piano
thank you so much
proud to say that I've been practicing the piano since then, and obviously this was the first song I learned
@@jed5356 Good job man! This is a great one to play.
