Oh Emmy I've never tried the vanilla extract as a kid. Good thing I never smelled it or I would have. I did the same thing with cocoa powder. It was in the cabinet, I opened it, it smelled SO GOOD I thought it was like hot chocolate mix. I took the hugest spoonful and put it in my mouth to eat, what a nasty surprise lol. No sweetness it was so gross lol.
The shape of the red jello remind me of my late grandma. She always make us agar-agar kering means a dry up agar-agar. It's taste sweet and a crunchy texture to it... It take a long time to make. She combined agar-agar gelatin + water with a lot of sugar and food colouring then she let it solidified and then she cut it into little pieces and dry them up under the sunlights and wait until the water evaporates and let it crystallize .... It's taste is quite unique.. but Its a delicious snacks

Just rewatching some of the older videos and I had to rewatch this one first as I was a big fan of Shin Chan back in/around 2006/07. I honestly can’t remember the exact dates....I just remember my son watched it with me and now he’s 28 years old. 😂🤣 So it was quite a while ago. Anyway...I ate a very large finger full of Crisco when I was about 4 years old. My mom had an open can of it sitting on the counter next to her mixer and I thought it was vanilla frosting. Yep! The worst part...? I knew how to read by time I was 3 years old. I didn’t even bother though. I stuck my finger in and dug deep, thinking I was being sneaky. That was instant karma! My mom laughed so hard. At the time I thought she was mean for laughing....fast forward about 20 years and I would have done the same if my son ate Crisco!! Just thought I’d share with anyone that may actually read this comment. For ppl who don’t know what crisco is: its hydrogenated vegetable fat. So, looks like lard and can be used as lard, but comes from veggies. And it was the classic Crisco. No butter flavored Crisco back then!!!
