These are great! The cord would have looked great as the hanger too!

Ooooo! I like these! You could even personalize them by painting names and/or year made on them.
You cab decorate with glitter, or cut out fabric letters and numbers.
    The possibilities are endless!

This would be great to do with old faded or outdated ornaments from years past.

Thank you! After I finish a quilt, I put the tiny, tiny, teeny pieces from trimming into a globe like yours. I use thread scraps too. I put any tiny novelty fabric pieces in last, up against the outside. These are in my sewing room as reminders of my work. I give my quilts away to family and special people and charity. These are a fun decor item for my room. They are much brighter without any glue or glitter on the outside.

I'm one of those "savers" too! These are cute! I just found a baggie today of tiny triangles. I don't remember saving them, but they would work great with this technique, if I can find my clear balls! Two other Ideas I've seen, don't know if you've tried them. One is to glue the tiny pieces down (like with elmer's glue stick or liquid glue) on a back ground, making a still life or landscape, assemble the quilt sandwich, then putting tulle (I think they used black), sewing it down with transparent thread. Another video I saw years ago used some kind of soluble stuff, She put even threads between two sheets of it, then sewed pretty thickly. When you dissolved the stuff, you were left with a sort of fabric. I don't remember who did either of these videos, sorry, but they are cool ideas!

Smaller the better on crumb size for getting a better curve. Love this idea! Can use regular Elmer's glue too. And styrofoam or cardboard shapes. Dust with glitter when done or coat with white paint thinned down. So many finishing ideas!

I love your ornaments. They are super creative. You can make a bunch and string them in a garland.

I liked the one made with bits and pieces more than the ones where you used long strips and went around.

I save my bits for a year and give them to our high school band. They do a fiber collection fund raiser every year. No idea what they do with it!🤷‍♀️ I have heard of people using it as fill for pet beds, but I think it would be way too heavy, esp if you have a big dog.

Cute! I have done mod mod podge and fabric ornaments before, but not “scrappy”.

I think you need some kind of stand, maybe a glass to set your ornament on. It might make the process easier. Maybe not. Hobbs of thread might be interesting even on you fidget quilt.

I take a rotary cutter to those and use them for stuffing.... I throw nothing away.... if my crumbs begin to overtake me I save the best ones and put others in the stuffing bag.

Fr your small shreds have u thought of a collage where u put them all down, could do by color shading… and then u put a mesh over them to hold them all down, then u quilt over the mesh. I think it is meant for a wall hanging rather than in a quilt, maybe check it out.

You could just use those tiny things as stuffing but I know you want to use them in a way that you can see them.

These are great ideas. But tweezers would have made your stuffing easier personally think glitter glue spoils it but that’s my English opinion

Those are such a good idea! I might have a go :D
I've been thinking about the fluffy, tiny strips of fabric you have and maybe you could used them to make paper? Grab some old news paper, blend it with the scraps in a slurry and dry them out into sheets, i'm such there's a real tutorial out there somewhere.
