How come my set screw is not holding onto the bracket. Not sure what I’m doing wrong but it feels like it’s too heavy.

1. Securely Tighten the Set Screw: Make sure to give that set screw a good, solid tightening with the proper tool. Apply some pressure to make sure it's holding the towel ring firmly in place.
2. Apply Thread Locker for Extra Grip: Enhance the set screw's grip by adding a dab of thread locker (like Loctite) to the threads before tightening. This can contribute to a more durable connection.
3. Introduce a Spacer or Washer: If the set screw isn't making solid contact, slip in a slim spacer or washer between the ring and the bracket. This can provide more surface area for the set screw to latch onto.
4. Double-Check Bracket Alignment: Confirm that the bracket is correctly aligned, allowing the set screw to engage smoothly with the towel ring. Make any necessary adjustments before firmly securing the set screw.
5. Consider a Set Screw Replacement: If the set screw seems faulty, swap it out for a new one. Ensure the replacement screw is the right size and type for your towel ring assembly.

Thank you !! The bracket was backwards! But also having issue with the screw fitting into the wall anchor! I decided to not use an anchor and just use the screw and now the hole is bigger than the screw 😩. Any ideas how to fix that without using an anchor or poking more holes?
