    Kiitos paljon taas mielenkiintoista videosta. Tällaiset videot auttavat suomen kielen oppimisessa, kielen ymmärtämiselle.
    Asun nyt kesämökillä, taloni lähellä on kaunis mäntymetsä, kävelen siellä joka päivä. Nyt metsässä on paljon mustikoita. Tänään aamulla keräsin kantarellia. Toivotan sinulle kivaa kesän jatkoa!

    Adding English subtitles under the Finnish one or adding Finnish text in the comments or in the description would help translate as learn while listening. Thank you for the video.

      I used to have dual subtitles, but many viewers prefer to have one language at a time. So nowadays the default is Finnish subtitles, which can be auto-translated in the settings. (You can check out my older videos such as this one: ua-cam.com/video/ItMyXFdvN14/v-deo.html)
      You can always see the transcription (Finnish text) in the video description as well! 😊

      @@FinnishFlow Personally I prefer one langauge at a time, because it allows me to save the words with Langauge Reactor without the languages getting mixed up!

    Now that I have finished analyzing the contents, I found this video to be quite interesting, both from a language learning perspective and from the content. A lot of words were unknown to me so I have learnt a lot. Of course also about flowers, birch and frogs. Thank you for creating this kind of video with interesting content and spoken in a clear and calm voice.

    Minäkään en halua, että kesä loppuu! Mutta tällä viikolla palaan jo töihin. Toisaalta nautin kesälomasta todella hyvin! Kävin Raumalla, joka on tosi kaunis kaupunki! Olen samaa mieltä sinun kanssa, kaikkialta Suomesta löytyy luonta! Asun Espoossa ja täälläkin on paljon metsää. Tykkään kävellä luontopolkuja täällä, ei tarvitse mennä kauas, koska luonto on aina lähellä.

      Monelle elokuu tarkoittaa paluuta arkeen. Lapsetkin menevät pian taas kouluun. Mutta ihana kesä jatkuu vielä :) Etelä-Suomessa se taitaa jatkua viikon tai pari pitempään kuin täällä pohjoisessa.

    Another excellent video, thank you! I uploaded the text of the video to my language learning app (Lingq) and have started to look up words and such. One word I suspect you meant differently. Around 1:06 you used the word "lumettomaan" to indicate snowless, but I suspect you meant "lumettamatta" from the verb "lumettaa" (to cover in snow). Is that correct? Or did you mean something else?

    • @FinnishFlow
      @FinnishFlow  3 місяці тому

      @@AJBonnema Thank you! 🩵 I meant the "snowless", so basically one is allowed to walk there during the (naturally) snowless period. Does that make sense? The verb "lumettaa" would imply that the track is artificially covered in snow, but that's not the case.

    • @AJBonnema
      @AJBonnema 3 місяці тому

      @@FinnishFlow ah, I was not clear enough. The word lumettamatta is derived from lumettaa, but means the absense of snow covering. It is the 3rd inf of lumettaa in the abessive case, which negates its meaning. Lumettomaan I could not find in any dictionary (probably due to the "o") and lumettamaan means the opposite of what you meant to say. Anyway, I am still studying hard, so I could easily be wrong.

      "Lumettomaan aikaan" is similar to phrases like "siihen aikaan", "tuohon aikaan" etc. The basic form is "lumeton aika", and I'm using it in illatiivi (mihin). I hope that helps!

      @AJBonnema 3 місяці тому

      @@FinnishFlow well, isn't that awkward .... At least now I understand. I did get the aikaan bit, but lumettomaan obviously reduces to lumeton. I feel quite embarrassed, I should have realized! Thank you for explaining in tedious detail!
