- Ferrari blew F1 fans away when they launched their dramatic changes for the 2024 Miami Grand Prix! In this video I will discuss everything that happened at the Miami International Autodrome during F1 media day at the F1 miami! The biggest F1 news of course being the new Ferrari blue Miami livery and the new Ferrari blue racesuits. This Miami blue Ferrari livery is a big change for the red italian team and I'll explain to you everything that I saw when they debuted the new Ferrari livery at the Miami formula 1 media day!

Why do we care what celebrity shows up to an F1 event? Spend the air time with tech data, driver stats, racing history, etc...
F1 has always been a sport with something for everyone. Cars, technology, performance, history, tradition, personality, glamour, and luxury. This is the glamour part- there are about a thousand other channels and videos focusing on all the rest, if that's what you prefer. But this absolutely is and has always been a core part of F1 culture, going back at least the past four decades.
@@its_clean No doubt F1 is a sport that reaches many and has many facets. I have only been watching since the 70's and for some reason I don't remember as much time being given to celebrities that have no interest in the sport and interviews that have nothing to do with the sport. While watching a F1 event I don't have an interest in new movies, albums, free throw %.......
The dog an pony / fanfair shows of driver introductions, etc.., to me, take away from the sport.

I am quite happy that the sport is attracting more fans.

Yes, there is 100x more content about frivolous stuff like celebrity guests, driver fashion, post-race parties, hospitality and catering, etc. There is also 100x more content on technical regulations, team histories, car setups, driving style analysis, aero design, MGU architecture, wing geometry, etc. Back in the 70s, you didn't have breakdowns of every movie star attending every race, this is true. But you also didn't have 20-minute videos dissecting the rear wing angles of every car for every practice session, or computer comparisons of the exact racing lines taken by every driver in quali. This is the internet age- there's just more of everything. Nothing has changed and nothing has gone downhill. Sport is sport, as it always has been.
@@its_clean Yep, we get a LOT more today that we have in the past. I am still sticking to my statement (with yours added) that we don't need the frivolous stuff like celebrity guests, driver fashion, post-race parties. And I don't feel tracks should be introduced with that side of it as why a location is picked.
@@WdyWP I will concede that the Liberty era has put more of a spotlight on the showmanship and celebrity side. But the sport itself has not changed dramatically from what it was before, aside from the regulations that have always changed in every era.
Kym is a photographer who explicitly focuses on celebrities and off-grid behind-the-scenes action, in addition to race photography and cars. If you aren't interested in that kind of stuff, I'd can recommend other excellent channels that are more focused on driver dynamics and technical aspects, like Driver61 or F1Unchained. But coming to Kym's channel and making this type of comment is kind of like going to KFC and criticizing the amount of chicken on the menu- perhaps there's a different restaurant that might be more suited to your taste?

Damn. Ferrari couldn’t afford to pay a few $$$$$ to a designer for their Miami livery? Their design was a joke, what a lazy design. Should have just kept it all red and skip the blue.
It was a tribute to racing colours Ferrari used in the past (Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino). This colour scheme was used on a recent Ferrari road car as well.

New title sponsor + commemoration = Messed up livery. It's objectively far from the typical Italian style and design. Without mentioning they removed the fashionable Ferrari logo from the rear wing, which looks now like a desktop printer......Disappointing!

I know that F1 and the media are all trying to hype F1 in Miami, but I don't get it. The circuit is rubbish, the venue seems to be trying too hard and overall a disappointing race thus far. I just don't get F1's obsession with Miami as an American. I mean, it's Miami...meh.
Would be better to upgrade Watkins Glen and Laguna Seca to current F1 standards.
Why Is the circuit rubbish? Have you raced on it yourself? And im not talking about on F123- its actually quite fun and challenging with assists off and on a real sim rig.
