Oh the irony. Promotes a VPN but has issues in China. To be honest you sound like an amateur traveller (which obviously you are not) when bitching about American apps not working in China. Will you be bitching the same when the US bans TikTok? It's not "the internet" mate. There was definitely a xenophobic undertones in all your China videos. Plenty of UA-camrs are based in China. Kim, I don’t know if you’re aware of the connection between the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Miami Beach. Both were primarily developed by the same man: Carl Fisher. After Fisher sold his interest in IMS, he moved to Florida and got the idea to develop a beachfront vacation community for a population that was becoming more mobile thanks to cars. It all worked great for Fisher until a devastating hurricane left his development empire in ruins. He never recovered from the financial loss, though his creation lived on and grew.

Kym, went to a Brazilian BBQ restaurant on a visit to Miami. Don’t remember the name but it was just off Ocean Drive and way back in 2005. Fab food and knowing you like good food you may want to try this type of restaurant. Would make for good viewing.

idk why some old schools hate this, F1 NEEDS THIS that's why Monaco and F1 fell in love. This gives a whole glamour to this car races and a lot of media. For some reason old school snobbish F1 fans dislike this. Yet they fail to understand it's the glamour+media+publicty that makes F1 Big. Same thing goes with Tennis they also have a very ninch gatekeeping culture. While in Basketball,Football they enjoy it.
As a TV viewer I find the US race weekends the worst… with the Miami weekend being the top of that list

I went to the first Miami GP - that was enough. Good lord the humidity and heat was off-putting. The racing, as Kym said was "ok". The scene feels, much like the Vegas GP, that it is too focused on the party and not enough on the racing. Though the Las Vegas GP had a surprisingly good race (for watching on Television).

Can you look into the impact on the locals for this GP.. I believe many of the folks there initially didn't like the disruptions - are they happy with it now?
At 2:23 you said J Balvin but the picture shown on screen is actually Maluma, also colombian and reggaeton singer, but different people nonetheless

I lived in South Beach for two years and every day I'd see one lass hotter than the day before. My most viral photo was Paris Hilton at the Red Bull Guest House dancing with her sister Nicky. She' quite fit. But the only celebrity you showed who I would give away my R3 for a handshake would be Federer. He's a living god.

i'm indifferent to celebrities and all that hype, don't care don't mind. but the racing really needs to be on purpose built tracks, not just here but everywhere mostly. all we will see are drs overtakes and drs trains, and some shuffling of the order from yellow flags. we for sure wont get side by side battles and non-drs overtakes and options to take different lines to get these battles. i'm gonna say start with monaco, but that'll never happen.
I think if Messi shows up, itll be attached to McLaren since Beckham seems to be buddy buddy with them, so im guessing Leo will just follow that path.

I'm never against celebrities going to GP's if they're invited, but it's places like Miami where the huge amount of celebrities that turn up it's a bit much for my liking... Takes away from the event in my opinion.

I went to the first one. The celebs don’t care at all about the race, the venue is the worst on the calendar. It’s all show and nothing else.

WOW, 35 hour flight on several air craft. You must have a huge pile of frequent flyer miles. Always enjoy your take on things. You should be able to find some excellent Miami restaurants. Burger King and MacDonalds to name a couple. hahaha!!!!

Florida resident here, longtime F1 fan, poor fan support outside of premium ticket holders,typically catering to the Uberich semi fans,lond walks from transit, celebs get handled nicely, but “ campus tickets “ are a slap in the face of the fans,standing all day, no shade and poor viewing, staying home and watching on F1TV
I had no problem, and I am not “uberrich.” (Spelled differently from you). I had a great time and met fellow fans-great fun. You should try having fun sometime!

We attended the first Miami F1 race in this facility in 2022 and will be back this year in the Aston Martin paddock club suite.
I’m wondering if there won’t be any drop off in celebrity attendance given the smashing success of Las Vegas and how many celebrities attended there. It’ll be interesting to see.
Either way we’re very much looking forward to it. They are reported to have improved the facilities a tremendous amount since the first year, including doubling the capacity of the pedestrian bridges, which was an issue the first year, and the paddock club was constructed for the second year of operations and the first year, temporary paddock club being relocated as the turn five suites.
Miami 2022 was my least favorite of any of the North American F1 races so I’m hoping this year is going to be much better. We’ve got four good friends of ours going so it’ll be fun no matter what.
I'm not really a fan of celebrities in F1 unless they are legit petrolheads

I went to the inaugural Miami GP and I loved it. I had good grandstand seats, the facility was nice, very good vendors- actually the food and drinks were great! I have previously attended the USGP at Austin a couple of times (also Indy) and it just put it to shame. The organization was on point. Took the shuttle to and from the track. This is the way to go, no dealing with the traffic, just sipping on a mojito. Yes, it’s hot, it’s Miami. Hit the beach in the morning then go to the track or the other way around. It was an overall great experience. I will definitely go again.

I think it mainly has to do with the fact that it's Miami and also the fact it's held in the parking lot of an NFL stadium, and the NFL is huge in the USA, and F1 and the Dolphins have done a good job of marketing this race, since alot of NFL fans have become fans of F1 because of this race. You also have a lot of well-known Dolphins players from the past and present at the race hanging with the drivers and participating in the event, in one way or another. Former Dolphins QB Dan Marino has also presented the various trophies to the drivers after the race.
