    This is lovely… yes I will make this. I have a good amount of fingering yarn. This will make a great scarf for under my coat in this freezing weather. ❤

    So beautiful. Thank you. I actually use a fine steel crochet hook when adding beads to my fiber works.

      Hi! Glad I saw your comment because I’ve searched for an hr online to find her tool with no luck !! I have plenty of very small crochet hooks to accommodate any bead size… 😻

    Very beautiful work Bonnie ❤❤
    For those who want to use a heavier weight yarn ( myself included 😊 ) to keep the drape of the shawl on the lighter side , I wouldn’t use any heavier weight yarn than a DK which I believe is a 3 weight ( someone correct me if I’m wrong ) but of course this is just my opinion ❤❤

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  Місяць тому +2

      I totally agree! Feel free to use a heavier weight yarn, and DK should be fine to use as long as you upsize your crochet hook. Just know that you will be making a heavier fabric. You can use a heavier yarn (like worsted), but it is going to be a very heavy and chunky shawl. If that is what you are looking for than go for it! Like you, I personally prefer the lighter weight yarns for items like this.

      @@BonnieBayCrochet Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. It looks to me like it has been joined in the middle. Maybe you could do a close up of the shawl at that part so we can see it's a change in the pattern. Please accept my apologies, I honestly didn't mean to offend you. 🥺

    Lovely design ❤ What kind of beads did you use and what was the name of the tool you used to add them?

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  Місяць тому

      I used #6 beads, but feel free to use larger ones. The Fleegle Beader that I used to add the beads can be purchased here (I used the 1.0 mm): www.beadbiz.org/product/Fleegle_Beaders/1155
