She would get a lot more respect is she wasn't touching components like brake calipers and rotors or levers with those greasy gloves, she contaminated the braking system with grease, that is a big NO-NO! .
Beautiful build!!! Was wondering what compact torque set you were using?..if anyone knows that would be cool to use. Would love to be this knowledgeable and build my bike..so cool..cheers🤙
That’s a Bontrager Preset Torque Wrench; however it is best suited to occasional use by consumers, not suitable for daily use in a bike shop, since it isn’t durable enough for such rigorous use.
Nice bike but I cringed every time she touches components like brake calipers and rotors with those greasy gloves! She contaminated the braking system with grease, that is a big NO-NO! She is far from being a professional builder, she is an amateur. People remember, after you finish installing your bearings or anything else that requires grease or lube like the chain, please throw away your gloves and grab a new set or wash your hands with a degreasing agent, the new owner of that beautiful bike is going to be wiping off grease for months not to mention the brakes are not going to be working very well.
With a custom build you get to select the exact components you want not the components the manufacturer selects to meet a certain price point. There are riders with the desire and disposable income that can afford custom built bikes.
Great video. First time I've seen a build done by a woman. Kudos to Lara!! #respect

I’d love to see you do better building a bike like that. She would’ve cleaned it all after filming.
Why 'custom' build a bike that you can buy off the shelf and have serviced before riding. This is a waste of time and money.

ugly bike.
Sram brakes = GARBAGE
