Checking the game out. pretty much the first match I got to play. I kept fumbling the damn fielding and couldn't figure out why. My controller may be broken. Let me know if there's anything specific you guys want to see in the game. Enjoy!

@@mpatrickthomas The manager at Hyde park NY CVS intentionally let me get injured from being stalked there while working. Workers comp, CVS and Hyde park NY to say the least are being corrupt. It’s either they are fine with a true crime with the manager and the stalker or they are fine with a try to lure you away weirdo creeping on you next. 🎷

Man im pretty dissapointed. This looks exactly like the past few games. Same player animations year after year. Im just gonna stick with last years game

@@azetyler What do you mean? It seems pretty well thought out and realistic to me.
@@imaxdigital7052 MLB games had pitching with the right stick and you had to make more and more complex patterns for complex pitches. The timing thing was also better as instead of pressing a button you had to continue the motion perfectly. Was just way more engaging and fun than this.
Have you seen the trailer for Pro Baseball Spirits? Its the NPB equivalent of the Show and it looks hella smooth

This was announced for PS Plus. I haven't played a baseball game in a LONG time, Skydome looks weird. Looks like fun, if I can survive Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run I can play any baseball game.
I like the new look on menu. Graphics seem to be updated a bit too. But they could make graphics a lot better
One of the biggest things I noticed in the first trailers was the improved character models and hair physics… then I see Gausman and he looks exactly the same with hair that’s stiff like he’s wearing a helmet lol. Also… after every hit and strike and out FOR the Rangers, why are Toronto fans cheering for them?…

Rogers Centre renovations look amazing can’t wait to see in real life.
They already added the renos in 23 too though
The lower bowl was being completely renovated this off-season. Last year was the outfield. They literally removed all the seats and changed the foul territory.

Do you really need a pitch clock most players on a video game don't actually take that long to select and throw a pitch I get it tho it's part of the actual rules now 🤷💯

Why was Rangers home on the Jays statium?
MLB the show has always been good but the animations and gameplay have been the same for years. The only difference I have seen in 15 minutes of this clip is Vlads hair animation
This game devs are absolutely obsessed with bat flips, just about every player will do it on every at bat LOL
Game has never looked bad in any release. But my constant complaint is the clipping you get on tags of mits/arms going through the runners body/arms. Been an issue for about a decade! Come on Sony!
Why are the blue jays playing away ?
I wish they would bring back create a team, so we can create teams for exibition with either a full roster of custom players for the roster or existing players or a mix of custom and existing players. We also need create a stadium for exibition too
this looks and sounds identical to the Show on PSP I played as a small child. I'm halfway to middle aged now.
I have The Show 23. This doesn’t look much different? Is it just the rosters and some minor fixes? Or is a lot different??
Its pretty much the same as 23. If your a franchise mode player. And play offline like me. Do a roster update on 23. And play 23 for another year.
How do I update like that?
@@eduardotricolorful click on the edit brush on the top right then go to vaults and download the roster. you have to start a brand new franchise with the option of loading a saved roster.
They updated road to the show a lot
I have a question about the 4k is there a cord I can use or buy or just use the original PS5 cord that comes with the system and I also have a 4k tv
the cord that the ps5 comes with should do 4k with your tv. I use a better one for recording purposes

Jays are playing in Rogers Centre but in the score menu it shows top of nine instead of bottom of nine.. i guess its for all the innings.. it should be bottom part of the inning
The dugouts are also wrong. Home dugouts are down the third base line. Also noticed a blue jays player struck out and a big K was emphasized on the scoreboard.....it's as if they're on the road. 😅
@@001springthat isn’t an error, all that is, is someone picked the teams then as the home team selected the stadium. Always have been able to do that which is why it shows rangers as the home team as well as dugouts opposite.

Looks great. I love the cut scenes and players look authentic finally. Rogers Centre looks great too!
When the show upgrades to next gen graphics and includes ebbitts field and tiger stadium and Cleveland stadium I'll buy it again and classic teams!!!

Medium defensive camera view is the only way to go .. Can’t stand that view

I just played this game, I was down by two runs, and it was the top of the 9th, with two out, I hit a ground ball, and I go to first base safely, and as I was just getting to first base, they threw it to second base, and the game was over...wtf. what happened? how did they make the out?

The game is missing tobacco spitting, crotch grabbing and the option of having fans yelling funny insults at the players. Also needed is the option to watch a replay if you want to at any time as well as having the ability to challenge without limits any call you want since it's your game and your time. Also show the players in the dugout laughing and talking to each other. Have the umpire clean the plate once in a while. have the first and third base coaches talk to the players twice in the game. have the manager come out to talk to the pitcher and if the game gets out of hand to change the pitcher. Show people in the stands eating food and drinking. Have record companies pay Playstation to have songs of their artists play randomly at the beginning of at bats. All these things add realism to this game.

My first Show game was 12 and it blew me away, I have absolutely hated the series since 13 but stopped buying after 16. This doesn’t look like the same over and over bs that made me turn away from the series

Just look at how gorgeous this is. Madden should look like. Instead it looks like a high res PS2/3 title.
I ddon't find the looks of Madden to be it's issue. I think it looks as good as this, or better depending on situation. The problem with Madden is it plays like shit, most importantly. Among other issues. This is atleast gorgeous to look at, as well as good to play, as MLB The Show always has been.

Honestly not really. It plays the same, the swing pitching and fielding animations are all exactly the same. It might look and play like 5-10% better but it really isn't worth the price tag. If anything I'd get last year's game for half the price or something because it's the same exact game. Only reason to buy this one would be for online play.

I know this is wierd complaint and I’m likely in the minority but not a fan of the lack of production the game used to have what with showing little stats here and there, we were already able to skip those cutscenes! Now it feels like the game itself is trying to rush me in and out of games!
Especially during RTTS, MF’s let me fucking have a chance to run if I want or not when on base why tf are we relegated to the final pitch!

Why doesn't Playstation have advertising sponsors pay Playstation to put actual billboards in the game. That way the price of the game console can be lowered by a hundred dollars. But keep the price of the actual games the same. It seems like a no brainer to me.

A lot of this game is very good! Only issue is the pitching! I am old school and use the classic style. Due to this I have no idea where any pitch is going and they are all over the place! It’s a bs flaw and makes me not to want to play two way because of the inconsistency I get! I tried the others and not the style I want. Sucks I wasted money of this
I bought it on sale for $10.50 for Xbox one.. sadly, the frame rate is terrible and make it harder to play.

People are just ungrateful and will find even the smallest things to complain about. I preordered the game, and am really enjoying it so far. Definitely an improvement over last years game.
