Darn once again I missed the live, I come in from work and the live just finished 4 minutes pier. From Loxley AL. Good to see Tamika. Love watching you work Justin.
The video I liked best was 11 years ago. "Teach your kids to cut opal by...Blackopaldirect! Each and every video is entertaining and educational. I bought a Cab king three months ago. I have not touched a stone to a wheel as of yet. Been busy with life lately. Justin, you and your team are the best!!
I love the video of when the fans sent so much love u were overwhelm with tears of joy. Ur gratitude touched my heart. Lets not forget the rapper videos 😂😂😂
I like any video with bright blue and black stones also the pretty white with red, blue. Really all the new stuff videos are great in my opinion, the lighting, camera angles are spot on in my opinion. Watching your videos have inspired me to give it a try myself and watching you has definitely helped me with my first parcel.... it's just a waiting game on getting my next parcel her in the US but give me something to look forward to and I love my new hobby
Darn I missed! Hello Tamika nice to see you again. 😊 I've been watching you since you first started in your old work shop. 6yrs ago. From Saskatchewan Canada!🇨🇦
I enjoy watching and cutting any opal , especially the large seem and black opal , although i haven't cut any black yet , but my absolute favourite to watch are the nobbies that don't give anything away until it's revealed , and when they produce something special it must be such a buzz .
The Script Pattern video from a few years ago was my favorite. we don't see enough of that. The Rap video is my second, we may have seen enough of that tho lol ... Hope to see you and the crew on your last 2024 video.stay safe until then..
I don't know the link, but there was one in the old work shop when Justin cut an exciting opal and did his happy dance and shook his tooshie he was so cute! I also loved the script pattern one, the one with the hole in the center of the opal. I think your lovely wife Ruth is very lucky to have such a humorous, sweet, adorable husband. Cherish each other. 😃🕺💃🪨💞🇨🇦
Shame I cannot catch the live, I'm always fast asleep here in the UK haha, but great live as always! My favourite video is hard to choose. But one I always find myself coming back to was posted about 4 months ago when that miner came to you with the rough to cut, Thumbnail has the word FIGJAM in it...those finished stones give me goose bumps every time I see them
Most of the Brazilian opal I saw was more like beautiful andamooka crystal , off course most opal types are endless in diversity . I like trying to guess where opals came from by looking...can be impossible sometimes lol
Actually, for those stones tha t you retained and sent up to the jewelers, I would love to see the final product. Like the long dangle earrings from cut slabs. My brother in law lives on Texada Island. But my husband and I live in Bend. Oregon right on the Deschutes Coho salmon, steelhead and trout flyfishing. Since the water is so good, many local breweries. That earth quake was only 7. The Cascadia Subduction Zone is going to give us a 9+. With tsunamis up to 100 ft high. I was in Australia 40 years agofor a month. We started in Queensland, down to Sydney, then to Melbourne. I collected a boulder, a grey in a Harlequin? pattern and a handful of jellies. I am going to purchase a small black from you when one comes up that meets my fancy. Yeah, I have some Ethiopians too. But they're not from Lightning Ridge.🎉
Love your videos mate. I recently lost a very beautiful oval Opal ring I would like to buy an Opal to go into a ring if possible. Feel very silly about the ring getting it set into the ring.
Sorry to hear about your ring, but you can find great opal for a new ring! Here blackopaldirect.com Kylie will help you out. Also I’m sorry you lost your ring
Please as you will. For me less is more. Artists/people enjoy a pace. for me, from material selection to a finished work the artist keeps better rythem /pace...bendiciones...m
Every time that you cut opal, the stones actually make me smile and happy.
I know it sounds stupid, but it’s true!
Anyone else?????? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

love them all and love it when he gets excited when beautiful color comes out he didn't expect
My favorite opal cutting sessions are the transformation from rough opal to completed gem(s) with narration. The process and the stories.

Most of the Brazilian opal I saw was more like beautiful andamooka crystal , off course most opal types are endless in diversity . I like trying to guess where opals came from by looking...can be impossible sometimes lol

How much do you think that beautiful little black opal will run? It is just marvelous.
Around $1200 USD maybe a little more is the carat weight is higher than predicted
@@blackopaldirect Thank you for replying. It's so beautiful.
Why are opals cut as cabs? Can it be facated? that black crystals look like it would be so beautiful facated xxx
Opals have no need to refract light with facets. It already has color in it. Facets will just diffuse the colors
Ahhhh missed another one...😢
Louisiana, USA
Gday Phil here in the Riverland just finished rubbing some opals now
Mansfield Pennsylvania
I’ll take it
Does Opel need special treatment if you don't wear it all the time?
Australian opal no. Just don’t scrape it on hard surfaces
@blackopaldirect thanks for the response, 😊
The one with you and your Dad.
Mississippi
Nevada, how do they compare to Australia 0pals.?
You have to keep the majority of Nevada opal in water to stop it cracking apart. Australian opal does not need water
