3 Body Simulations 2024 04 4k piano

This 3 body simulation was developed after I read Cixin Liu's trilogy many years ago. I was fascinated by the chaotic behavior of such a simple system. This simulation collapses space into 2 dimensions, and starts with a few randomized initial conditions. And of course adding some changing colors for interest. I have tuned it up a bit after starting to watch the Netflix adaptation of the first book. You can certainly see how difficult it would be to predict the orbital behavior long into the future.
Algorithmic Dynamic Art (ADA) is a real-time generative art form. Each unique art instance has a life cycle of creation, growth and death. ADA is art as algorithm, written in Python and designed for live presentation on large HD or 4k displays. Each art instance is composed as you watch, is ephemeral, unique and never repeated. This video is a screen capture of the application.
