I have a story to tell about this song. The morning after a night out, my best friend and I had slept in a bit and the sun was pouring in my house. We were drowsy, slow, sipping tea and drifting from bed to chair, from phone to book to short naps wherever we could lie down. At some point, I turned on the speakers and played your collection of piano covers. Softly, we both listened to it. I tidied the house, my friend read under my blankets. This came on. Before we knew it, we were both crying. I couldn't tell you why, she doesn't know BTS or the story behind the song and what brought me to them, but the music, the sun, our shared exhaustion and gratitude at seeing such a beautiful day, it all came together in tears. It brought us closer. For a moment, the music resonated through us and cleared away the dust settled on our souls.
This is all to say: thank you for creating a cover that showed the sadness behind the glitter, the longing behind hard beats and strong voices. Thank you for creating a space I could fill with a moment like that. Thank you!

i love how the actual song is so sexy and upbeat that makes u wanna dance and sing along but this piano version is so soft and melancholic, which evokes a kind of sweet bitterness and longing. really well done, you managed to capture that bittersweet essence of the whole song which bts was trying to convey. kudos to you pal
