after 35 years away from school (I'm 60) I'm back (just finished 4th course. I love SNHU -- I have the best advisor! That was key point when I compared schools. I email her weekly, sometimes more, so she knows what's going on in my life, the professors are also extremely e-mail friendly and want their students to succeed. Over this break my quest is to find a student support group/accountability partners!
I was actually going to skip pass enrolling with SNHU because I could not find any info about the online learning platform, however after watching this video, I'm a little bit more confident, so I'm moving forward for January classes. Thank you for taking the time to share this info.

Yes 🙌🏽 I have learned to love 💕 myself through the anxieties I bring upon myself with getting out of my comfort zone. Life is short, we need to be kind to ourselves and reflect on your accomplishments and things that we do know how to do well. Haha 😂

I am from South East Asia and just registered at SNHU for January 2023 class, thank you for your helpful video. I want to ask if the MAT240 in SNHU are hard?cause math not my good point, and I been in college for 26years ago. What do you suggest?
Hey Yasmin! Honestly I would follow all of the Facebook groups I listed in my description and ask the students in the groups about the math classes. I only took statistics, but know that students are very healthful in the SNHU Facebook groups.

I was told by my academic advisor that some courses from Sofia won't transfer over.
Seeing as we have the same major, I wanted to know about the courses you took on Sofia and received credit for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hey Isaiah! Of course, my advisor was cautioning me that the registrar's office picks and chooses which times during the year they will be approving courses from Sophia Learning, in other words, they may say that they are not accepting intro to statistics at the moment, but I would check back with them and ask again because it depends, some Sophia courses are under review and have deadlines to complete throughout the year. I’m so glad you addressed this because I start SNHU in Jan but I am currently doing courses on Sophia and am taking some of the same classes you took on there (I am a BA Communications major)

I am not sure about that. You can call them and ask. They are super helpful.
Can you see all the weeks ahead in the portal? Or, do you have to complete everything in module/week 1 for the next to unlock?

My question for you, did any courses require you to team up with 3 or more people to do assignments and submit assignments as a team? I am a student at Full Sail University and it was a toss up between Snhu and the university I am with. For several courses I will be required to work in a team and do assignments with a team and submit the same exact work as the team or be penalized 10% per assignment. I do not like this type of grading because we are graded as a team and if there is a disagreement with the work, its kinda sol. So, i have been looking for other schools that offer Digital Marketing degrees and came back to look at SNHU, could you let me know how the program courses run please. Thank you ma'am!
