Thanks so much for these videos. I surfed all of these spots so many times during the early 90's when I was stationed at K-Bay. These were truly the BEST days of my life. Now I live in Missouri and can only dream of those bygone days . . . but when I watch these videos . . . I can still feel EVERYTHING. Truly, heaven on earth. Small days were just so much FUN. Nothing BUT fun. I'd head down there on Saturdays and surf allll day. Always followed up with a Hawaiian Snow shave ice and a trip to Subway . . . then, later on that night it would be Club Rose, Femme Nu or Rock-za, Pinks, The Wave and then either head to some gals hotel room or St. Louis Heights to watch the sunrise.
jack basedgod You're right, the gopro head strap won't stay on at all in anything with any juice to it. I was using a hat/gopro mount I designed specifically for surfing. I am working on having it manufactured and producing it for sale in March 2015. I'm calling it "The GoHat" check back here for more info around the end of March
+Dead poolmonkey use a mouth mount, or bite on the floaty foam if you use a floaty backdoor. mouth mounted shoots looks better than head mounted, lower angle that's more realistic.
the water is very clean, and very clear actually, and warm, all year long. the buildings are quite a distance away from the break, and the waves ride in forever.
not sure who the viniscus or Naruto guy is but , this is the island of Oahu, I don't mean to brag but you won't find waves like this anywhere your from, and these are the worst waves if you asked me try the east or north shore, it'll make you rethink your oppinion

I wear a hat on backwards over the head mount. This helps a ton (and makes me look a little less 'kook'ish.
