I have a Yerf Dog go kart that was given to me that I've been working on. When I got it, the family friends who gave it to me also gave me an old reverse kit as well, and I've been trying to find good, easy to understand videos or just info in general on these engines since I'm not very familiar with them. This has by far been the best so far, keep up my guy because this might as well be a new bible for me, who knows.

Questions I got a coleman bk 150 1 It goes in reverse. No problem but when I put it in, drive, it drives for about Ten feet and then pops out of gear when I put it back into neutral and then back to forward, it does the same thing any suggestions

So, if I am understanding you correctly, my Alpha Sport Cobra RS-180 has a gy6 engine? Mine has reverse but doesn't look like the ones you show here.

I recently was given a Kasea Adventure Buggy 125cc which has one of these GY6 Clone engines, but the engine is no longer functional after years of sitting. Would I be able to swap it out for a predator 212cc or 420cc?

Wow . That's what happened to me I got the wrong one and it took me about 3 mouths to get the right one thru eBay I guess because of covid-19 but keep up the video s good info Harvey.

I am looking for the part that the reverse cable connects to on the gearbox. It is on a Farm Pro UTV. I think it is the same on a Yerf Dog Scout. Not the bracket that holds the cable but, the part that is attached to the shaft that turns to select forward or reverse. Any help would be great.

I have a 150cc which needs the intake manifold (carb attachment point to the engine) replaced. I have the replacement part ready, but can't seem to get the old part out. Nuts are removed. The base of the intake is inserted into the engine and I can't seem to free it up. I've tried silicon and white lithium. Ideas?

It's too bad you couldn't get that engine tig welded so the case isn't splorking oil everywhere.
I was hoping to see this thing get a second chance to kick ass! :D
