Hi dan have watched your swinging. You have found some nice stuff, enjoyed all your videos Your gold coin spot. Dig a mtr square about a foot down test pit it. Best regards and luck With finds Good health Freddie
Thanks mate, unfortunately the field has been set, and although I am still allowed on there, I don't think the farmer would appreciate me digging up large areas. I'm sure it will come to light some day, I have saved the what3words for the position and can continue to search for it in time. Thanks for watching buddy 😀 👍
Thank you very much mate 👍, great when you find something and then see it online, saves a lot of searching lol 😆. Thank you very much for watching mate 👍 😀
Lovely Jettons Dan, only ever found a couple myself. But do find them so interesting. Great day with some wonderful finds. Hope you find the missing piece soon. Take care Buddy 😀👍
Nice day looking for gold, oddly I do like those big buckle tongues, tiny little silver, Romans and Artifacts, better luck next time. ATB Bill and Julie 👍
Thank you Bill 😊, I love finding bits of buckle, don't get me wrong I like whole ones too lol, but I keep all the little pieces 👌. Thank you very much for watching mate 😊👌
Amazing nice old finds again Dan! Superb video! Enjoyed every minute of it.. This weekend I'll do a 2day search with the Legend in my own area. Together with Co from Adventure Digging. Hope we'll get some nice history out of the ground! Cheers! 🍺🍺👊
Have hit the subscribe button as I want to see your face when you find that missing piece of the Roman golden jigsaw. Good luck - am sure you will eventually find it. Some fab coins this time - great channel to watch. Cheers 👍
Thank you very much mate, I really appreciate that 👍 😊. I hope I find it one day, I'm definitely not going to give up on it 🤞🤞. Thank you for watching and subscribing 😊👍
I'da gridded the find spot off, gone single frequency 40kHz down to 20kHz , down coiled, not too much gain or volume, and gone every angle to tryn'd find that bit of gold. Basically, you are attempting to find a dear little 1/4 gold stater. Very delicately does it. In the old-days of analogue, it'd be an all-metal job and huge, mind-numbing relentless concentration ....But hey, I'M not you! 🤐 Better luck next time Dan.
I've been back over that area using almost everything the legend has to offer, with no luck "yet". I guess the trouble is, we Don't know how long ago it was broken and how far is has been mover by the plough. I won't give up on it, and hopefully it will turn up some day 🤞🤞. Thank you for watching
Great video as always. I carry one of the golf club cleaning towels with me to pat dry anything after it’s been sprayed down. Might be worth carrying with that clay you have there.
I had thought about carrying a cloth before, but just never done it lol. I'll try and remember to take one on my next adventure to give it a try. Thanks mate 😊👍
I've really searched that area well now, with no signs of it 😕. Hopefully it will show up some day, but it could have been broken off and lost a long time ago 🤷🏻♂️. Thank you for watching kirsty 😁🙏
I noticed your nails were cut very short. If mine were that short my fingertips would be quite sore. Also, I think some Water Wipes baby wipes would help to clean your hands. One thing I'd like to see is your finds after they are cleaned up properly, maybe back at your home. It's a shame you didn't get that last piece of the coin. Will the detector give a signal for something so small? I was thinking if that was me, I'd get a garden sieve, and put the soil in and carfully sive it from exactly where I found the coin. Say a yard square about a foot down, or so. I'm enjoying your videos.
Well saved buddy 👏, finds are absolutely amazing dan, great vids as usual true and honest 😃best regards Kelvin. Hope you find the last piece of your gold jigsaw 😮😊
What an amazing day, running out of ways to say it lol. Loved the Jettons, never found one myself but on the bucket list. Always good to see a hammy, you know you've had a good day if one pops up. I have the same coin pod and I think you will have a measuring table behind the foam on the lid.
Haha it like me running out if titles for my videos lol 😆 😅, it's hard work you know. Yes mate there is a little table in the lid, such a great box, very sturdy and well made 👌. Thank you as always for watching mate 😊👍
the greek coin could be a roman soldier spearing a fallen horseman great hunt hope you find your gold fragment i would hope its not to far from where you found the rest of it keep up the great vids well done on the roman gold mate
Thank you for that information mate, much appreciated 👍. Yes I hope that piece is not too far away and I'll keep searching for it when the sugarbeat is lifted 😊
Very nice variety of coins jetons, hammered, romans think coinage Was made in trieste and konsantinopel. Greecce under roman kontrol eastroman empire, missing piece of The gold denarius, will turn suddenly Thanks😜🔝❤️
Thanks buddy, glad you enjoyed that one 😀. Those field always throw up some interesting bits and pieces, and I do love a nice jetton 👌. I can remember my first jetton very clearly 🙌😊. Thank you very much for watching mate 👍
Thank you very much mate, glad the tips are helping 👍. Let me know if there is anything else you would like me to talk through in the videos 😁👍. Thank you for watching 👍
It’s crazy about missing signals. I’ve been over the spot where I think there maybe that siliqua hoard. I can go out 1 day and pull nothing out on exactly the same spot after gridding the area then do the same spot a week later and pull out 3 more siliquas. How does that work. The ground has been saturated so conditions have been constant. It’s weird
It all depends on the day, and the ground conditions. Every hunt is different and will throw up different signals. Also its surprising how much you can miss between swings. If I'm ever on a group dig etc, I don't keep away from people's footprint and holes, as they always miss so much in between 😉👌. Thank you very much for watching 😀 👍
I think we should stop using water to clean the coins or any good finds. Our fingers and soft brush are perfect tools to get most of the finds details, at least until we get home to do proper cleaning. Just my opinion. Anyway great finds mate 👍 😊
I use deionised water in my spray bottle, so much more gentle on the finds, without any of the chemicals that you get in tap water. The finds are kept moist in the ground, and actually, letting them dry out too much, too quickly, can damage the surface of the item. Appreciate your opinion though mate, and thank you very much for watching 😁👍
Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching mate 👍
