I don’t walk, I _run_ when I see/hear “simple” and “easy” on YT recipes-it always means lazy, cheap, & inauthentic. But HERE, it looked too good to turn off, so I’m glad she didn’t cut many corners. This looked worthy! 👌
Delicious recipe Aimee! The beef was so tender and the onions remained tender-crisp and that sauce...it was wonderfully rich and velvety! Just the perfect amount of savory and sweetness for my preference. So quick, so tasty and so hard to have just one serving! I even forgo the rice! I did also add two chillies minus the seeds, this is what I love about your recipes, I learn from other recipes here and gingerly modify what takes my fancy.

This looks similar to a dish called Lomo Saltado, which is also stir fried, with beef, onions, tomato slices, rice, and fries. (Peruvian dish which my dad makes from his country). I should ask my dad to use this recipe! And for lomo saltado, believe me, it's so delicious, my favorite food I'd say. So this sparked my interest as I thought of Lomo saltado. Your recipe and result looks great. Could you do a Lomo saltado recipe, or add your own twist to it?? That would be so cool.
