Awesome paint work and he taped over the wiggle wart printing to confirm a pre rapala wart. I've sold a couple hundred over the years. Here's a tip to confirm a old wart. Look at the printing wiggle wart with a magnifying glass. It is actually a series of dots to form the letters.

I fish highland lakes regularly and love Warts. Been fishing the Rock Crawler more the last few years but still love the OG Warts. Brads Wiggler is also a good option.

Original Wiggle Warts in Baby Bass with White Belly. My favorite. Presentation- Heavy Power Rod, 20 lb mono. ,new hooks(your favorite). My hook is made by Decoy. Wart ripped through cabbage weeds hard! It triggers a lot of big bass to bite. Try it. It's incredibly hard on your muscles but it's worth it.

Wow, crazy nice paint schemes and detail! Texas Tackle split ring pliers for me. Keep the yellow handle one in my tackle bag! Have a great weekend and my warts just a handful but they just say wee wart🤣 crazy how the boxes turn a little yellow

The old ones were made with butyrate plastic which was a milky white color. Also, I agree, it was the imperfections that made the old ones good.

I like to use the small Texas Tackle pilers for cranks, and my bigger Rapala Split Ring Rings for bigger swimbaits. Great breakdown dude! I enjoyed this video.

The original Warts had a unique hunting wobble especially when hitting something like you should. No other crankbait had this wobble ,and it triggered violent strikes .I have had 60 plus fish days with the original wart. That's why the new Storm Wart doesn't work as well, it doesn't have that action.
Always liked using the clear plastic one in colder water temperatures, the clear plastic is more dense than the white plastic and slooooooowly floats up on the pause.

The paint is nice, but the classic BIG eyes are gone. You would think he would maintain the eye size for a wiggle

Maybe, but it's a light sanding so the paint takes, not taking out molding ridges etc
