Hello Vaishnavi. Thank you for giving me a tour of the university. I wanted to know a little about off campus accommodation below 400 pounds per month. I would be pursuing MSc in Supply chain and logistics and my session starts in September 2023. Any other advice regarding anything would be highly appreciated.
Hello Shahrukh! I think your course would be based on jubilee campus, you should look at options at broadgate park, Raleigh park, St. Peter’s court. You can also look for apartments in beeston, lenton or Dunkirk areas or some nearby areas to the campus. It’s quite tough to find a place below £400 as Nottingham is not cheap and your course is based in the city. My course is on Sutton Bonington campus so here there’s a village called Kegworth where houses are very cheap so you can try that if you wish to but you’ll have to travel a lot. Let me know if you want to know about anything more
Ma'am, I have also submitted my application to this university for my undergraduate studies. Your videos are incredibly beneficial for students like me who aspire to study in the UK. Could you please provide a way for me to contact you? I'm very curious to learn about the real situation at the university and in Nottingham.
Hiya, sorry for the late response. Yes I’ve seen many people of colour at Nottingham. It’s a safe space for everyone, you don’t need to worry❤️❤️ if you have anymore queries feel free to look me up here www.nottingham.ac.uk/studywithus/chat-to-our-students/index.aspx and text me!
Hi Vaishnavi, stumbled upon your video. I would be taking up a Msc program in Sept '23 and I am currently planning on my accomodation. Any suggestions? On-campus, off-campus,all kinds of suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance! Loved this video btw!!
Heyy, it would have been better if I’d known your course, but I’m staying on campus in Bonington Student Village. My course is based on Sutton campus and I like that I live on campus as I get to be a part of many campus and residential student activities. www.nottingham.ac.uk/accommodation/options/ here’s a link of on campus accoms. There are plenty off campus options like student roost, amber student sites etc. Thank you so much!!!
Hi, I’m sorry I just saw your reply. As far as I know this course is based on Jubilee campus, correct me if I’m wrong. Jubilee campus has raleigh park and St Peter’s court, it’s a budget friendly on campus accommodation with various flat options. There’s deakins and Nottingham 2 as well. You should check these out and make sure to keep the deadlines in mind as these places sell out fast. There are some off campus websites like student living, amber student, etc.
Hi! What campus would you be based on? If you check your course on the website and scroll towards the end the campus is shown. www.nottingham.ac.uk/accommodation/options/ this is the link to on campus accommodations. Check it out and let me know if you need anymore help!
Hello! Sister I'm from Bangladesh.I want to come in january intake but i don't no anything about this University.I want to come with my two kids and also husband.Someone said me the area is so poor so my family couldn’t survibe.I really anxious whether me and my husband can do job or not.I know you are busy. But if you have time plz reply me.I will be greatfull to you.
Hello! I’m sorry for the late reply. I’m not sure whether University of Nottingham has January intake or not. You’ll have to check and confirm if the course you want to do offers a January intake. Nottingham is not poor as far as I’ve seen it. Everything is quite expensive here, restaurants and food especially. Travelling is also costs quite more than other cities compared. If you choose to live in the city centre or nearby towns like Beeston, Dunkirk, lenton, Clifton where it’s easier to find part time jobs, you can manage living here. You can apply for jobs in other cities and towns as well. Your husband might have to move if he gets a job outside Nottingham. This is just my opinion. I would strongly recommend talking to someone experienced and well versed with the UK.
