I've seen Pete perform several times over the years and have spoken to him a couple of times while hanging out with mutual friends and he was always a pleasure to be around. The word underrated gets thrown about way too much but I truly believe Pete is one of the greatest song writers around and it is really great nowadays to see the focus being on his art rather than his personal life which the mainstream media used to almost overshadow his creative talent.

Ive met him a couple of times we had a good laugh together and even played rock paper scissors and then the rest of the libertines joined in it was a moment in my life I wont forget

People said hed be deadby now but hes managed to keep himself away from the hangers on and scumbags who convinced him it's a rock star thing to be a crackhead

But, I just wanted to say you shouldn’t assume someone is drinking due to their weight, most people I know gained a lot of weight once going clean. I myself have gained 30lbs but I know many that gained 50-100+ lbs

Of all the people I didnt think would make it, he was the one. It was just a matter of time. Im glad to see him healthy, happy and drug free. He attempted it so many times, looks like he finally won!
I dunno, wouldn't say that he's "huge", he definitely needs to lose 20 lbs, but he's always had that kind of look with a chubby face, even when he was totally smacked out, he always had that under chin flub and a big old round face, stocky look. When he's shirtless here and laying down you can see he's not really *that* fat, frankly I'm glad he's staying clean, feels like he's in it for real this time.

I'm a recovering heroin addict who used for 23yrs and you are worse than any of the scumbags I met using drugs...such people... he's a highly creative person who has a disease called addiction and I have it too and it takes the strongest of characters and an extremely honest person to admit that they have a problem and do something about it, have a shit day.

I Met him in Margate on New Year’s Eve with Carl too, seemed nice blokes bought me my gf a couple of drinks didn’t even chat about music tbh.
