Long live the king! The only thing that can improve them is to give the bottom a more wear resistant material. That's what killed mine. Of course I used to drag it on the floor back in grade school through highschool
How long have these been around. I grew up in the 80's and, our school supplies were 5 ⭐ Star brand..but, I like this one too. However, my dad just bought me a Jane Sport..it's called Galaxy-the Purple was just screaming at me from the back of the room/store. I love, love Purple love!! It's my favorite color. I still have my 5 Star binder, it about 35 years old and, the bottom is ripped to shreddes. It's Maroon-the closest my mom could get to Purple. Lasted me allll through high school.
I bought one about 10 years ago and beat it for a good 6 years. I mean every day stuff it carry. Just bought another one a few weeks ago. I'm a cyclist. Everything goes on my back. Number one haul? Groceries. I can fit a good amount on a good unforseen shopping spree. Today that same bag, at LLBEAN, is 54$. In my opinion a fantastic piece of EDC.
I think the bottle nets could have been designed better. I prefer them to match the backpack color rather than contrast. I would also rather see more of a pouch than a net. Netting is cheap.
I haven’t tried the super deluxe. I’m partial to the deluxe because it’s relatively an unchanged, classic design that goes back to the 90s, if not 80s. I noticed the updated versions of deluxe bags have a water bottle net (which I think looks tacky).
Thank you for showing me this. I just bought one online and didn't know what to expect.
Best backpack on the market. I have one that I got in elementary school and I'm 32 now. Still holds up!
Might buy one for my brother haha

Great job it helped me a lot
I think I have a newer version and it has a charging "symbol" on it and I'm not sure what it does
I totally agree. They do indeed look tacky/cheap but if you want this otherwise cool pack you’re stuck w them. The kids in school all use them
They don’t make this version anymore. It now has bottle nets on each side

I wonder if you could effectively dye the netting.
I want to add: 40 bucks?? For a backpack?? That's not bad.. :)😊
With min3 I noticed a flaw. Where's the waterbottle place my older one had one.
CrazyCam Foye I was thinking the same thing
great video! thank you
is the super deluxe bookpack better than the normal deluxe one?
