Liz, you have such a kind and gentle nature about you -- what a sweet presence. I also appreciated the information you provided -- it was methodical and well thought out, and very considerate. Thank you for sharing:) Glad you like your bike!
Thank you for making such a comprehensive review Liz. It is refreshing & helpful to hear your decisionmaking to meet your needs & budget. This is definitely a budget bike, and it's great that you adapted it to your needs like replacing the seat with a more woman-friendly one & modifying the rear rack to hold your things.
Might get a lightly used version of this bike (with a different shift layout, 8-speed). Appreciated this review. The work you did to index specific timepoints in the video really helped, thanks!
As a dude I jumped on the seat and put a tilt forward on it and its a street bicycle's saddle. I put two points of my hip rest on the rear of the saddle. My brake cables came in pink and assumed this was a women's bicycle but I'm loving it as is.
I got the same bike for my birthday. Honestly it was cheaper than some of the similar bikes at Target. My dad is going to assemble it. I love the look of it. I feel like it's perfect for the city. I got a basket for the front.
I don’t really have plans to put panniers on. I have ridden my bike to the store for small things, but since I’m already at the weight limit with it, I can’t load it up too much.

The basket zip tie was ingenious! I like the "I belong to" sticker too! Thanks for posting your experience!

The paper tray idea is genius.

Hi Liz, thanks for the review!
I’m looking into buying this bike but I was wondering if it is too heavy to move it around.
How's the bike treating you so far? 9 months later.
Do you have plans to put panniers on your bike so you can get groceries? Do you walk to the store vs getting in your car?
