Loose got loose with his Bars in response to comments from a rapper in the last cypher claiming his was bodied that subliminal that he can’t see no bodies was fired as dope. Ice is always ice.
I like BlaqBone's verse... Ice Prince was dope, dope enough for me to feel his verse was too short. Jesse jagz just killed it. AQ was cerebral. MI was MI with nothing to prove. And Loose Kaynon was also really good
Nasty c came to Nigeria, he listed his top 5 Nigerian rappers, that's what AQ is referring to... As he mostly named rappers that are popping at the moment
Loose from start to finished maintained that energy! Man came serious and pulled up well. I like Ice-Prince intro, his bars sound real rap shit but just short like Steve pointed out. Blac came easy and flexing. Jagz flow and lyricism always does it for him.. not feeble word 🔥. M.I always dropping gems and sticking to more local bars that sticks out! They all 🔥 welcome back Steve! Let’s go! #GSgang
AQ is DOPE! YSL = Yves Saint Laurent AQ turned YSL to "Young Soldier of the Lord" Walk'n up to me hands open like Jude Bellingham (goal celebration) Jesse Jagz reminded us he's still an OLD CAT in the hip pop world. He's the foundation, very poetic and understood the assignment
When I feel like folding (Foden), I hold my composure, thats's pep (Pep Guardiola) talk - AQ Best verses ranked, my opinion Loose - metaphors overload, flex talk, he was too comfortable AQ - He came at this like a preacher, speaking gospel MI - OG talk Jagz - rhymes, rhymes, rhymes Ice - simple bars, clear deliver, same Ice, acknowledged the theme and the team. Salute. Blaq - There's a reason he went first. Nuff said.
My MVP goes to MI he dropped a lot of real bars that happened at their absence, Loose got me thinking. In fact all those guys are MVP. I fuckn missed hip hop, if not for SDC I would have gone berserk 😊
Mi, AQ, loose kaynon, Jesse jags, blaqbonez and ice prince in that order for me. This is great for the 9ja hip hop scene and thank you Steve for your unbiased reactions ❤️
M.I is always reinventing himself...the Nigerian slangs and double entendres are crazyyyy... I wan craze with that "Like Maryland and Odumodu, Men dey!! (mende)
I heard a lot dope barz and rhyme schemes on this jawn.. however, i feel y’all missed when M.I said “you too weak (two weeks) for this work, you be like 10 days” so 5 days make up working days in a week. Two weeks of work days is 10 days. That was fire! Maybe I’m reaching tho 😂😂
You have to have a certain level of thinking to understand hard rap bars and when we see someone who understands it exactly like we do it’s pure joy man
Ice Prince does this almost every time. He starts well, and when it seems like he's changing gears, that's the end. The most painful was that track he featured AKA. 🤦♂️ Nobody does Boss bars better than Loose. Jesse Jagz gave me goose bumps because his brag was about his image, which is untainted. That wordplay M.I did with Ghost, Tech & Showdem was cool 😅. M.I is the greatest.
Q was my MVP (also cuz I luv him lol) the wordplay with his Albums/Music; Golden, God's Engineering, Rose and Blessed Forever to talk about hip hop history was sleek. the play on Choc City and him being a City Boy (the president of Nigeria has city boy as an alias too) was also smooth. Q wins for me but dope verses all round
A-Q got some intellectual rhymes, must be a science student to understand him deep n I love what you do bro, thanks for always loving and identifying with the Nigeria HipHop
hahahahahahaha my boy done did it! 🙃🙃🙃 2024 is about to blow off the hinges, #gsgang leeeet's go! 🥂 Yo! Steve, go get some popcorn, I am about to go in on this one, bro... 😂🙌 I almost chopped off your head for this one. I was beaming the beacon all over the atlas on twitter in search of you, and hoping the general will see the light and recognize that the troop got one. You came through eventually... you came through, I give you that, so leeet's go! Lest I forget, happy new year to everyone in the #gsgang community.🌋🌋 I wish you all the best in the new year and beyond, and more importantly the best of health and family time. Bless! 🙏 Yo! where do I start from, uhn? I mean, I did not see this one coming to be honest, and that's how you get off the starting blocks in a new year. Good one from Choc City, those guys down there do know how to make an appearance pop. I have always held 'em high when it comes to the ability to read the room, and know when the culture is starving and what it should be fed. 💯 HipHop is 50, Choc City is 20. It was a perfect time to do this. Look, more perfectly is the fact that there's been polarized conversations out there about the relationship between the boys, but I knew that somehow, the love between 'em all would conquer any temporary agro. I mean A-Q alluded to that in one of his recent tracks, right? And this cypher embodied that. Case closed on that chapter, if you ask me. Whoever goes on to raise dust regarding that is just chasing clouts. Quick Remarks: 1. I will jump on a hundred Dollar bet with anyone that Blaqbonez was not 100%. Clearly, he sounded sick. I mean, January in Nigeria is when you come down with the flu, because the air is dry and dusty as a result of the harmattan that blows south from the Sahel Savanna, a hot and semi-arid climate zone in the northern part of the country. 2. Recently, MI and Blaq have been experimenting with this new flow, rhyme pattern, and cadence. We got a bit of that in "6 AM in Accra" by MI, and Blaq has been hinting on that for a minute now. 3. Ice Prince is not really known for going more than 16 bars a lot. So, welcome to my corner. I always want more from him every time I hear him. It feels like he gives you a taste of what he is all about, but feeds you in piecemeal portions 😂😂😂 Know what I mean? But he is good though. Simple! Yo bro, you slept on a few bars, and I am not calling you out for that, bro. 😂😂😂 That was largely due to the fact that, of course, there are some Nigerian local parlances, recent events in the industry, and names of places, that I don't expect you to be on top of like 100%. 1. There is a place in Lagos called Maryland, and let's just say the capital of Maryland is Mende which is pronounced (Men-day). Now, there is a new cat on the block called Odumodublvck who has a catchphrase that goes like "men dey" in pidgin English which in English could be interpreted as "we here!" or "there are men!". In his verse, MI said "like Maryland and Odumodu, Men dey", now I will leave you to connect the dots. 😂😂 2. Also, Mohbad is an Afrobeat artist in Nigeria who last year, lost his life in very strange circumstances. Another artist, Oladips, was reported dead but somehow news got out there subsequently that he was not dead, like he came back to life or something like that... that story is still not clear to me. But when MI starts his verse saying "RIP Mohabad, welcome back Oladips, you knew he was going to stay on that conscious lane of his to pass a message like he's always done in recent cyphers, and that is how you start a verse. Now to the order of MVP performance ..... roll the drums mofo!!! 😂😂😂 Look I loved all the verses. They all did different things that I liked for different reasons. I don't know if that makes sense, but fuck it! I agree with you, Ice Prince and MI stayed on the theme, but I mean that verse from Loose was 🔥 🔥 🔥 My MVP order 1. A-Q 2. Loose 3. Blaqbonez 4. Ice 5. Jesse Jagz ...and, I mean, I am not even gonna throw MI in it, because in recent cyphers, he has been about his mission to send a message from the pulpit he brings to these cyphers. So, I'm just gonna leave him in his lane, and by the way, he ate the cypher to the bones. That is how to close out a cypher. Take away? A-Q said "It's God's Engineering, I have got 2 here, 3 coming" I think that was a cue for us to anticipate God's Engineering 3 from A-Q, or even 3, 4, and 5, depending on what he meant by "3 coming". Whatever he meant, one thing is for sure, we have not seen the last of God's Engineering. There you have it fam. It's the #gsgang, baby ... Leeet's Go!!!
Here's why Ice prince line was short...He has said it before that he's not really into cyphers and freestyles. M.I first line was RIP to Mohbad a reference to the artiste that died last year. Welcome back Oladips a reference to another that was announced dead only to return days after...Next line was a reference to open defecation in the street. For me the order is: AQ MI Loose Kanyon Jesse Jagz Ice Prince Blaqbones
You don reach here again ?? Can you see how much of an hater of good thing you are ?? No one is agreeing with you on bashing the Hennessy cypher , people are wiser than that . Be happy for good things bro , too much hate causes depression if you’re not already depressed. Hater . SMH
Loose had the best delivery for me, M has the most message as expected n this his delivery was new and elderly dope, Jags was more technical, Blaq leaned into the beat and was intense, AQ was the most refined and his bars were wild.............. SHOUT OUT to Steve, much love. i knew you would love and analyse clinically as espected..... when i hear a cypher, next i need is to hear your reaction brother... much love
Loose was very rap-grammatik and ready for the exam day. That's what profs appreciates with an A+. Mi used lots of spanish in his verse thats why some folk dont comprende, but i do.
I miss the days where reaction videos meant breaking down hard bars and asking for help on the ones that went over your head. I’ve been searching for reactions on this that broke down the bars. Ps. I’m biased about MI, Bonez grew on me but the boy is 🔥
MOHBAD, a Rapper died last year and caused a big stir in the country for weeks! OLA DIPS, also a Rapper, saw the Love that was shown MOHBAD on his demise and decided to fake his DEATH to promote his Album. So, RIP to MOHBAD, Welcome back Ola Dips
I will rank em' in this order on this rudimentary and historic cypher: 1. Kaynon 2. A-Q / Jesse Jagz 4. MI 5. Blaqbonez 6. Ice Prince But it's obvious A-Q and MI didn't feel the need to prove anything or bring their verses to the battle line. Best A-Q verses are on Monster cypher and LAMB 3.0 and that A-Q is really slippery and dangerous. Easily, A-Q and MI would run through that record with alot of casualties, but they chose to ease off. That's great!!! Jesse Jagz is very intelligent with his cadence, tricky "stop and go" and intricate weaves of information bombing when he raps, bringing the big boss vibes, plus he's seen it all. Producer extraordinaire!!! Loose Kaynon- this is his best work ever put out in a cypher. You can see his "Growth, Approach & Delivery" improved upon each time...and that's on G-A-D!!! If you get me. Lmao Blaqbonez is very diverse and brings in alot of cyberpunk swag. He's this generation's most prolific hiphop artiste. Not afraid to touch on as many topics that matter. Iceprince does not do enough and simply fell off after "Oleku". He started really okay and then dropped off. He's been this way since forever- his rhyme schemes are pretty predictable and he's refused to evolve- only thing going well for him is his drips. Nobody beats him when it comes to these outfits.
I've never been this confused as to the best in a song. Jeez! These guys were all good. Wish Ice's verse was as long as the other's though. He has a certain force in his voice and his swag is second to none; only Phyno comes close in that regard. Who caught the bars about footballers - Bellingham, Foden & Pep talk? These guys ate this shit fr!
my fourth watch, while i cant wait for a loose cannon interview ,i also cant wait for some blaqbones interview koz he needs to explain to us what he has been doing recently. he's let me down twice now ,first one was the 2023 cypher..he traded barz for nice clothes

Steve's reactions should be in the museum!!!!!!!!!
Feels good hear these A+ rappers all together again.. 💪 💪
Let’s go! #GSgang
AQ with the Chemistry and football barz... 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Blaqbones with the steez!!!
Loose is a Boss!!!!
AQ is DOPE!
YSL = Yves Saint Laurent
AQ turned YSL to "Young Soldier of the Lord"
Walk'n up to me hands open like Jude Bellingham (goal celebration)
Jesse Jagz reminded us he's still an OLD CAT in the hip pop world.
He's the foundation, very poetic and understood the assignment
A.Q dope..
And when I feel (Phil) like folding (Foden), I hold up my composure, that’s Pep (Guardiola) talk.
When I feel like folding (Foden), I hold my composure, thats's pep (Pep Guardiola) talk - AQ
Best verses ranked, my opinion
Loose - metaphors overload, flex talk, he was too comfortable
AQ - He came at this like a preacher, speaking gospel
MI - OG talk
Jagz - rhymes, rhymes, rhymes
Ice - simple bars, clear deliver, same Ice, acknowledged the theme and the team. Salute.
Blaq - There's a reason he went first. Nuff said.
Ur a real hiphop head
I missed hip hop
My MVP goes to MI he dropped a lot of real bars that happened at their absence, Loose got me thinking. In fact all those guys are MVP. I fuckn missed hip hop, if not for SDC I would have gone berserk 😊
Immediately I got the notification I abandoned what I was doing, let's hear from Steve😂😂
(mende)
I heard a lot dope barz and rhyme schemes on this jawn.. however, i feel y’all missed when M.I said
“you too weak (two weeks) for this work, you be like 10 days” so 5 days make up working days in a week. Two weeks of work days is 10 days. That was fire! Maybe I’m reaching tho 😂😂
I just felt that bro. You weren't reaching. Mad bar 😂
You have to have a certain level of thinking to understand hard rap bars and when we see someone who understands it exactly like we do it’s pure joy man
Ice Prince does this almost every time. He starts well, and when it seems like he's changing gears, that's the end. The most painful was that track he featured AKA. 🤦♂️
Nobody does Boss bars better than Loose. Jesse Jagz gave me goose bumps because his brag was about his image, which is untainted.
That wordplay M.I did with Ghost, Tech & Showdem was cool 😅. M.I is the greatest.
Bro, you are so tapped in that you make some of us natives look like jokes. WOW!!!
You missed AQs Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden Bars. Elite European Football Bars 🔥🔥🔥
I think that's understandable cause Steve isn't exactly a heavy sports fan, let alone a European one?
But as a standalone it's a dope one.
Missed you Steve, welcome back and happy New Year. Loose was my MVP followed by AQ, MI, Blaq, Jesse and Ice
A-Q and Blaqbones thoroughly dominated this one!!
AQ said hes got meetings with investors and we never really see him much after his lines😂.. Be like sey he go meeting true true
Blaqbones is too versatile... He's really good with what he does.
Loose almost catch it up, but M.I is my MVP. His Baz's was technically pure and spread❤🤯💥💯
Mi killed it....the delivery and wordplay 🔥🔥
Aq nailed it with facts ,Loose went hard on this
Ice and Jesse went all in
This is hip-hop
Wheytin Black do you?😂
Having the best lyricists on the same joint for the first time ever 🔥🔥🔥... A-Q and JESSE JAGZ?????..... Yooo!!!!😮😮😮
Two legendary poets still...
loved those new flow pockets blaq and MI had
hahahahahahaha my boy done did it! 🙃🙃🙃
2024 is about to blow off the hinges, #gsgang leeeet's go!
🥂
Yo! Steve, go get some popcorn, I am about to go in on this one, bro... 😂🙌
I almost chopped off your head for this one.
Bless! 🙏
Yo! where do I start from, uhn? I mean, I did not see this one coming to be honest, and that's how you get off the starting blocks in a new year. Good one from Choc City, those guys down there do know how to make an appearance pop. I have always held 'em high when it comes to the ability to read the room, and know when the culture is starving and what it should be fed. 💯
HipHop is 50, Choc City is 20.
Quick Remarks:
It feels like he gives you a taste of what he is all about, but feeds you in piecemeal portions 😂😂😂
Know what I mean? But he is good though. Simple!
Yo bro, you slept on a few bars, and I am not calling you out for that, bro. 😂😂😂
That was largely due to the fact that, of course, there are some Nigerian local parlances, recent events in the industry, and names of places, that I don't expect you to be on top of like 100%.
Look I loved all the verses. They all did different things that I liked for different reasons. I don't know if that makes sense, but fuck it!
I agree with you, Ice Prince and MI stayed on the theme, but I mean that verse from Loose was 🔥 🔥 🔥
My MVP order
1. A-Q
2. Loose
3. Blaqbonez
4. Ice
5. Jesse Jagz
...and, I mean, I am not even gonna throw MI in it, because in recent cyphers, he has been about his mission to send a message from the pulpit he brings to these cyphers. So, I'm just gonna leave him in his lane, and by the way, he ate the cypher to the bones. That is how to close out a cypher.
Take away?
A-Q said "It's God's Engineering, I have got 2 here, 3 coming"
I think that was a cue for us to anticipate God's Engineering 3 from A-Q, or even 3, 4, and 5, depending on what he meant by "3 coming". Whatever he meant, one thing is for sure, we have not seen the last of God's Engineering.
There you have it fam.
It's the #gsgang, baby ... Leeet's Go!!!
Well analysed.....brother...
All this english just to put jagz last, def not worth reading
I think Loose kaynon just solved our naira depreciation issues with his bars “my pocket filled with pounds over naira is a bit racist” 😂😂😂😂
"You said seeing is believing, do you see the holy ghost"
Mi😂
Thats immediately after the SDC scheme o... m.I dey craze i swear 🤣🤣🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥🔥
So happy i was waiting for your reaction as it dropped
Here's why Ice prince line was short...He has said it before that he's not really into cyphers and freestyles.
M.I first line was RIP to Mohbad a reference to the artiste that died last year. Welcome back Oladips a reference to another that was announced dead only to return days after...Next line was a reference to open defecation in the street.
For me the order is:
AQ
MI
Loose Kanyon
Jesse Jagz
Ice Prince
Blaqbones
Way better than that thrash Hennessy cypher. This is really dope. Cant believe people were flaming me for not rocking with that Hennessy cypher filth.
You don reach here again ?? Can you see how much of an hater of good thing you are ?? No one is agreeing with you on bashing the Hennessy cypher , people are wiser than that . Be happy for good things bro , too much hate causes depression if you’re not already depressed. Hater . SMH
Blaq was lite. It's clear now, once you go full pop the real bars will leave you.
Ps. I’m biased about MI, Bonez grew on me but the boy is 🔥
Bonez came heavy with the swagged-up flow.
You all are sleeping on AQ's verse... he said "And when i feel like folding, (Foden) i hold my composure thats Pep(Guardiola) talk
Jesse, AQ, Loose, Ice, blaq, MI...in that particular order personally...but all were fire af, they all knew the assignment...
M.I delivery pattern and pitch switching . is why his the GOAT
Popped in here thinking “I hope Steve has reacted to this”… surprise surprise
Blaq bonez disappointed me the most best verse for me is between AQ and Ice Prince
You all missed the Folding(Foden) and pep talk bar.
I love that AQ's line, "Coming to me with open arms like Jude Bellingham"😮❤🎉
I can’t believe this video is 40minutes long cos Steve wanted to flex on us that it is his channel😂
I enjoyed your reaction
Listening to Loose on Illegal Music 3 is proof that making MVP on a roster joint like this was only a matter of time
I will rank em' in this order on this rudimentary and historic cypher:
1. Kaynon
2. A-Q / Jesse Jagz
4. MI
5. Blaqbonez
6. Ice Prince
But it's obvious A-Q and MI didn't feel the need to prove anything or bring their verses to the battle line.
Lmao
Blaqbonez is very diverse and brings in alot of cyberpunk swag.
MI easily had the best verse on this
I wanted this reaction more than anything.
I prefer to watch this that the actual video😀😀😀
I've never been this confused as to the best in a song. Jeez! These guys were all good. Wish Ice's verse was as long as the other's though. He has a certain force in his voice and his swag is second to none; only Phyno comes close in that regard. Who caught the bars about footballers - Bellingham, Foden & Pep talk? These guys ate this shit fr!
Loose Kaynon!!!
Welcome back Steve.
Happy New Year Big Man.
Let's get to business 😂
Respect to all of them men this is fire 🔥🔥 M I u have paid ur dues
Emeka the greatest, every Choc boy delivered on point, even Loose Canon
Does anyone have the links to the interviews that he mentioned about?
I have a whole playlist with all my interviews on it, check that out and pick the ones you're interested in 🥂
Did y'all catch that SDC play?
OMG!
The way he tied Ghost with Tech(Tec) while still making a lot of sense.
God Father shid. MI is a God
my fourth watch, while i cant wait for a loose cannon interview ,i also cant wait for some blaqbones interview koz he needs to explain to us what he has been doing recently. he's let me down twice now ,first one was the 2023 cypher..he traded barz for nice clothes
I loved your reaction to ice Prince flow😂😂😂
Happy New Year, Steve
#GSGang4Life
-14:04.... When I feel like I'm Foden(Manchester city football club player) I keep my composure, that's pep(Manchester city football club coach)talk😂🔥
You need to be intelligent and informed to understand and relate with AQ's rap and bars, science/chemistry bars, sports bars all rolled into his rap... that's a blast.
Blaq did his thing and was amazing Aq come in and push it too. Loose the MVP
