Mind you Adam didn't just play a football game earlier in the day and just get of a plane from out of state just before several of his baseball games. So Adam was a better BB player I will give you that but not a better athlete.       That's 100% exactly what happened. I met Warren Sapp a few years ago. He stayed at my dad's house. He also signed my rugby ball. And the day he spent the night I was googling him in my bedroom, ran down stairs, and asked my dad, "is this the same guy?!" Next day he showed me his championship ring and told me he would get me a signed Bucs helmet with HOF 93 on it. One if the most magical experiences I've had.

I live in a suburb. one of my neighbors is involved in meat market and had a business. turns out he sold his business to none other than Nolan Ryan lol. so, to close the deal, he came over to his house and his kids were all playing baseball at the time and signed their bats & baseballs. I remember they said something along the lines of "idk who this guy is, but my dad said he's important" lol and I was really into sports cards at the time and younger myself, I was like bruh get me that autograph haha

      That’s Adam Laroaches kid. He was in the White Sox’s locker room, dug outs, and practice fields from the day he could walk. When the white Sox no longer wanted a players kid around the club house so much, Adam(his dad)retired from baseball. Literally at that point in the kids life, Bo Jackson was nothing more but just another one of dads coworkers/friend on a random Wednesday.

    I'm just a couple years older than Bo but that made it possible to know what an amazing athlete this guy was. Frankly, I haven't seen anyone even close to his diverse athletic abilities. What with that, its an awful shame we were all denied the opportunity to see him play out his athletic career. Looking back now, I wish he had just stuck with baseball so that we could witness his athletic achievement in full.

      if he humblebragged it was in the most modest way possible. Had his career not been cut short by injuries Bo Jackson would've been talked about as the most accomplished athlete in modern times. Michael Jordan for example is touted as the greatest basketball player, but he was horrible at baseball. Bo Jackson was just amazing at anything he enjoyed. Had he been born in a different area where basketball was the predominant sport I have no doubt he'd be a superstar in the NBA, instead, his home of Alabama is more football and baseball oriented

      When I was a sprinter in high school our track coach invited his friend 'Harry' to come and help us with form, baton passing, etc. He beat us all in a 50 yd dash wearing street shoes. He was in his 40s. Turns out his friend 'Harry' was Harrison Dillard. Olympic Gold metalist. 'Harry' never mentioned a WORD of his own accomplishments. THAT'S what 'class' is all about.

    When I was close to this kid's age, my father took me to the local mall because a former baseball player was there signing autographs. He instructed me to get a nice looking ball, and hop in the car. When we got there, I was surprised to see such a huge line for a player I'd never heard of before. After briefly saying hello, and getting my ball signed, I felt lucky to be part of such a big deal, even though at the time, I didn't fully grasp it. It was later that I understood the gravity. I had just met Hank Aaron, the REAL home run king. Still have the ball.... over 30 years later.
