How do I know what sids and stars to choose?

Usually SID and STAR connect to all the departure and arrival airport runways. So, the route generator in XPFlightPlanner chooses the SID and STAR for the shortest route between departure and arrival. However, if you want to choose your own SID or STAR for any reason, you can modify them in the generator dialog.

Dear @blexnt, there are several ways to add an airport (or more generally waypoints) to the flight plan. You can search for WMKK in the point search field, then right-click and "Add to route" as shown in the video. You can find more information on how adding waypoints to the flight plan in this tutorial at step#2 www.xpflightplanner.com/help/tutorials/how-to-generate-a-flight-plan. Please let me known if you need further assistance.

Sorry for that, as of now we have a technical issue with Microsoft Store so we cannot provide the latest version into.
You did right to install the latest version of XPFlightPlanner directly from our website.
The current video is more dedicated to flight planning. If you need more details about SID, I can suggest you to watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/ZfVzUG_uy6s/v-deo.html
