- Chinese President Xi Jinping held a welcome ceremony for visiting Samia Suluhu Hassan, president of the United Republic of Tanzania, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Nov 3.
At the invitation of Xi, Hassan is paying a state visit to China from Nov 2 to Nov 4.

They already have Africa's support, brother! I live in Ghana. I know any intellectual doesn't like the West and Aftica's relationship and sees China as a great economic power and partner that does not give aids but rather conducts business with win-win outcome.

The demand for investment in infrastructure, education agriculture (for food sufficiency) and reforestation of our arid lands is very high in Tanzania as it is in the rest of Africa. Remember the true size of Africa is larger than all of China, USA, Canada, Europe put together surpassed in size of landmass only by the Asian continent. The opportunities for mutual development cooperation are immense! Tanzania is 9th largest in Africa country in land mass.
