Habeeby - Another Ethiopian group singing a Sudanese song

  • This is another Sudanese romantic song....must admit that it's a lil awkward listening to the song being sung in such a heavy arabic accent...but I also should admit that the beautiful Sudanese song and lyrics combined with the Ethiopian artistic performance makes a great combination. Seems like a lot of Ethiopian bands are into Sudanese music.

Am I happy because our nationals are singing suddanese songs? Of-course! The great and proud people of the Sudan deserve more, and we also are related more than anyone. The same blood runs through our veins. Some of you suddanese brothers who said nice words in your comments, please accept ours, too. We love you!

What this song shows you one thing; how much these two people share so many things from Music & long long history... I love Sundance. I am Ethiopian and I enjoy Sundance music more than any other music on this earth. The ppl are the best. I never saw a beautiful people in and out like Sundance. To be honest as an Ethiopian I am more comfortable with Sundance than any other African (that doesn't mean I don't like them)...

    the song says:
    Oh oh my darling
    come closer
    let’s share our love
    forever
    we need no suffer
    being apart
    oh darling you are
    the fruit of my life
    among all you
    are my whole
    for you I give my
    life with a joy
    near the shore
    where the traveling birds
    nest
    I will wait for
    you with a zest
    I wonder if you
    are from this world
    or an angel from
    the space

this great song with pretty Ethiopian girls. We Somalians and Ethiopians share the same father which difference us the rest of Africa.
So it not fair to hate Ethiopians because they are in Somalia. We destroyed Somalia not Ethiopians, so stop hating them. All Somalians doesn't hate Ethiopians. i say hello to Ethiopians.

Let's all which peace for east africa and the countries of the nile. I hope you forget about things that make you hate each other and look for things that get you closer. We all share the same river, the Nile.

  • @oskeywoskey
    @oskeywoskey 17 років тому

I don't understand why all the hate. WE ARE ALL POOR!! We are down right now, and we keep pushing each other down while the rest of the world, especially, U.S. and Europe just look at us and laugh. How stupid are we? We try to separate ourselves from eachother in order to have another group to put down, so as to make ourselves feel better. With this kind of division and hate, no wonder we keep fighting these nonsensical wars!

In any case Ethiopians love Sudanese songs with Ethiopian twist. That has been a fact at least since my childhood days in Ethiopia. I think your singers also sang Ethiopian songs, no? Its simple as that we just love your songs with our own twist. Ethiopians respect South and North Sudanese People.
