Salam my names are Hamza Uba Muhammad,i'm Nigerian living in Belarus i really love Sudanese music and culture because in some cases it's resemble with Hausa people living in Nigeria.
I think this one of the most beautiful Sudaness musics. But one thing I don't know Arabic and I wish I knew arabic I could have enjoy it meaning, but it doen't matter. I enjoy the sound here in the United States. Simon
in the first impression one may think a typical Somali girl, but this Sudanese girl surely is a cousin from the great Cushite family which is the most beautiful race and origion of the human kind.
I use watch this program on Al Shurook Tv show, but that station is no longer available on Arabsat. I really missed it. Unfortunately Sudan is in crisis, Subh very sad indeed.
True Hamza, there are many links between Hausa and Sudan people. Who are classified as Nigerians comprises large part of the Sudan population and in most cases dissolved completely in the wider aspects
Yes, Let your god help you as you need to learn a lot about the language mixture in Sudan. Although large portion of it comes or influenced by the arabic language in some areas, but has many inputs and mixture from local and imported langauges
The mixture of ethnicity is in plethora...the Sudanese music is very popular in Somalia and Ethiopia but influenced more the Somalian compared to the Ethiopian as with the latter the way they managed it is by sticking to their style while playing Sudanese music and cited it accordingly (of course by adding in Ethiopian style touches)...most of the old Sudanese singers are very famous in the East, West and central Africa region...of course the situation is now very different!!!
Who told u this mistaken information? Some Nigerians from Hausa tribe came to Sudan in the beginning of the 20th century and they do still live peacefully with the original citizens, but they do not represent even 2% of the total population.
I think she is right. She insisted that the song language is Arabic which is a common understanding of almost everyone who touches the subject from outside. for me and many others, we do certain measures to decide if this language is Arabic or not and we found that: Yes most of it is Arabic mixed with local languages thus generating own Sudanese Arabic used by most of the Sudanese people and has in many cases replaced original languages including the Nubian one.
thanks Nadia, to which comment you responded below, as I can not find relevance to the last few comments...no one speaks about globalization or music in global context. the few ladt comments are controversial and sny comments in that regar is very welcomed.
are you dumb?? the song is in Arabic, no question about that. انت عبيط؟؟ الغنية باللغة العربية ومافي شك في ذلك..اللغة الرسمية في السودان هي اللغة العربية ممكن في اطراف السودان توجد لغات أخرى لكن اللغة الغالبة والدارجة هي العربية

May Allah ease the situation. We are deeply sadden by this unnecessary fighting of Muslims against Muslim brothers.
