  • Let's go to the Dallas Northern Kentucky sports card show in Covington, KY on Friday, May 3, 2024.
The TripleCrown24 UA-cam channel is focused around one dealer's journey through the hobby via card shows, discourse with fellow hobbyists, and grading submission reveals. Today's video recaps the buy/sell/trade transactions from my most recent card show.

Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy the insight into the hobby and seeing what goes on at shows.

  • @RipFan8

Hi JT. Always enjoy the dialog between dealer / collector. Congrats on a great day. Talk soon my friend.

  • @4softcorners728

Congrats on a successful show! After following these from the beginning I know that the success comes with lots of work and money put into the cards that you sold. I also know how much work and money to reinvest in more cards it makes for you. Ultimately, it keeps the wheel spinning though and keeps the inventory fresh and makes for great content as well. It’s always fun following along with the journey!

A four figure sale ain’t too shabby for cash flow 🤪

Great stuff JT! I really like hearing the interactions. It’s very useful to someone like me.

  • @ACollectorsDream

Are there ever any shows in south KY? I live in Clarksville TN which is right on the S KY line. Would love to do some shows there.

  • @andrewsmith7523

Great stuff as always. Any chance you can include an in-frame thumbnail of the card(s) you're discussing at a particular moment in future videos? Sometimes it's a bit difficult to see the cards that you're referring to.

  • @MattyT4eva

    Great Day!

  • @joelkaplan2157

I've noticed sometimes in my area people have nice cards to showoff but none are priced at going rate they are hoping people overpay to get them .....

  • @cscards56

Personally not a fan of “what can you get to on this” as dealers we have sticker prices of what we’re asking and that’s the price we’re asking. If they want to offer than that’s fine. But as dealers we can’t sell everything for 70% of the lowest comp they can find. It just doesn’t make sense and is a loss every time

  • @WeskerGriff

    Strong show JT! Well done!

  • @Keepgrinding3173

You nailed it. Those repack guys aren’t fooling anyone that does their homework on the market and watches the breaks.

  • @averagejoe7638

Congratulations on another record show! I feel like you are setting new records every month!

  • @nimaghaheri5874

Love the content, exactly what I'm looking for as a dealer myself. How do you create your labels (black/ gold)? They look so sharp. Thanks!

  • @JBCards-nn9zi

Great show content. I respect that you stood your ground on the percentage of comps thing. 80% is not the standard and as a dealer myself, we’re already saving buyers shipping fees. I’m all for discounting on a card by card basis. I just did a show and had a repacker come up to me and flat out tell me he needed a percentage off the lowest sold comp price. When I told him no, he walked and someone else stopped by and paid close to sticker. It pays to wait and stand your ground at times.

  • @MrJrLewis23

Was there another portion to the show? I was there at the convention center in the ball room part. This environment looks different.

  • @roxfanatic17

Great content as always, JT! Random question, what Joe Thomas bowman rookie is that?

  • @bsmithPR4256

where will you be setup this weekend?

  • @Wootensportscards

I was at East gate Saturday and the promoter's who decided to schedule your show and the other, really just kinda ruined all the shows ..Thier egos of doing a show the same weekend as a already established show is ridiculous
