This is something that always bugged me about trying to use Low Latency Mode in Pro Tools...You can't monitor instrument/mic inputs.
What gives? Is this a known problem or am I doing something wrong?
Let me know you've had this problem and know of a solution, I've just been riding a low buffer size while recording.
Avid, no hate, I really enjoy your playlisting in Pro Tools.

Yo, I was intrigued by your vid so I did a little digging. I found it on pg 538 of the pro tools reference guide. It mutes the audio playback from your armed tracks so that the recorded audio doesn't interfere with your live tracking. You'll need to configure hardware or direct monitoring external to Protools to hear these tracks.
I agree with the premise of your vid though. A check box called "Low Latency Monitoring" that just mutes your live tracks, is confusing.
If the menu item was named "I Am Using Low Latency Monitoring" it would suit my understanding better. But I'm no expert and definitely no UI expert.
Hope my rambling is useful in some way.
Happy jamming!
