At the end of the Fullbring arc, the Captains were aghast at Ichigo wanting to bury Ginjo in the living world because it would allow him to enter the Soul Society as any other soul, a "full pardon" as Shinji said. If he had been buried in the Soul Society, I suppose his soul would have been cleansed completely and cast back into the cycle as a blank to be reincarnated into someone new.
Oh! That makes a lot more sense than Ichigo just wanting to bury Ginjo for sentimental reasons as a fellow substitute soul reaper, or not wanting to be that disrespectful to someone. In feudal societies, denying a criminal a proper burial was often used as a way for a final punishment for their crimes, and making an example of them. I just thought that was what they were going for.

I stayed until the end :) Good thing you remembered that they died, their souls were sent to the soul society and that is the reason why Yamamoto wanted to keep the body in soul society so that their soul would disperse and not reform with their memories and powers intact
Fun fact: When Mayuri was telling Ichigo about that, a broken Bankai can't be fixed. In the manga, he mentioned Renji's Bankai is still broken from his fight with Byakuya. in which Byakuya destroyed some of the spines.

In that arc is were we first heard of the 0 Squad, Kirio is Hiyori's captain that got promoted and replaced with Urahara. - Here in the anime when Kukaku says "uncle" they make it very clear that said uncle is Isshin Kurosaki, This was hinted at with the physical similarities of Kaien, and Ganju. The Shiba Family (Which many forget) is a noble Shinigami family, and nobles tend to have more Spiritual pressure than normal shinigami, this adds to why Ichigo is stronger than normal, because he's of Noble lineage, a Quincy, and Hollow. - Ginjo, Tsukishima, and Giriko died, so their souls went to the Soul Society which is why they are here now. (Many forget that they were just humans)
Further clarification on the last part, the reason the Soul Society initially took Ginjo's body was to prevent him from being sent there as a soul. Because of Ichigo's request to have him buried in the World of the Living, Ginjo was allowed to be sent to the Soul Society. Tsukishima and Giriko's bodies were likely never recovered and they were sent as well.

A few important things you need to know in case you don’t already: 1. Kon being in the Soul Society actually was brought up earlier on in an after credit scene during the Arrancar saga. While the citizens of Karakura town were asleep, Kon was in Ichigo’s body there as well, and Mayuri’s division captured and experimented on him (buff Kon is one of the results). 2. Definitely made it that far into the discussion. Y’all always have good insights, and you’re some of the only people I’ve seen make the connection with Kaien Shiba
The satisfaction I got from you guys putting together the Shiba clan/Kaien connection was great lol. Not a lot of people paused to process the information like you guys did. Plus if you go back to the scene where Byakuya doesn’t believe that Ichigo has a Bankai, he ironically lists some of the reasons that Ichigo was able to achieve it, as reasons he shouldn’t have one. Including being part of a noble clan (even if the Shiba are an exiled clan).
Basically the reason the fullbrings are there is because powerful souls keep their powers and memories when they are sent to the soul society. The reason Ginjo was taken to the soul society by the captains was because it would stop his reincarnation cycle. Ichigo taking him back and giving him a proper burial made him pass on to the soul society. Same applies to the other 2. Gotta remember the soul society IS the afterlife.
Dont forget ichigo's Dad was in fact a natural soul reaper who also is of Royal blood. So if he does have relatives up there in sole society that's why. Uncle
Remember that Isshin Kurosaki was a captain of an unknown squad at this time, he changed his name while living on earth and opened up a clinic. Isshin Kurosaki = Isshin Shiba, leader of the Shiba clan, a formerly noble family in Soul Society like the Kuchiki clan still is.
Kenpachi’s poem is so heartfelt and melancholy, personally its my favorite. At first glance it feels so uncharacteristic of Kenpachi, but also its one of the best looks into his character. Its simple, but so perfect.
Just a reminder to Aizen's conversation with Kisuke about the Soul King as he was being sealed. "Why would you choose to subjugate yourself to that THING?!" "So, you saw IT." Make of that what you will.
If you remember Urahara and Yoruichi hideut from first 50 episodes thei had similar healing bath, Urahara actualy made it to work similar like Tenjiros, in manga Tenjiro confirmed it but not in anime
Tbh I always would have preferred if they really did kill off byakuya. It would have given Rukia and renji impetus for their charecter development instead of dues ex machina power up from soul kings palace. Rukia would then have been the heir of the kuchkies despite not having a drop of noble blood to her and maybe then getting some political drama of the other 3 houses stepping in to stomp on the kuchkies. Maybe then getting ishinn coming back to lead his own clan again and bringing back their status as the 5th noble family as they come in on the side of rukia And then finally getting some back story into just what each of the roles of the noble family’s actually were before old man Yama stepped in and created the court guard and took over their responsibilities Ishin- family seems to be in charge of actually getting to the soul kings palace. There was one clan in one of the filler arcs, so might not be cannon but might also be, that created weapons for soul reapers before the zanpakto was created. Then there are 3 that we have absolutely no clue about besides that the kuchkies are a thing…
yeah when orihime was training ukitake mentioned that because of their strong souls when orihime chad or ichigo died in the human world, they'd come to soul society and would likely become soul reapers themselves
Fun fact,Byakuya was suppose to die, all Kubo social media was getting blown up and so he had to turn them all off for a while and he was getting a lot of death threats over this aswell so he decided to bring them back
No source to that story and it's likely a myth. The only thing I found was Kubo saying he wrote a lot of charters deaths because he wanted to end the show quicker due to his health but then refrained to so because he didn't think these deaths were fulfilling. That's it, no mention of Byakuya.
Fun fact this was never confirmed by Jump or Kubo himself this is all assumptions with no ground or proof. But that happens a lot with bleach for some reason. Also if you read the manga the length between Byakuya’s death and them saying he’s alive is a couple chapters. Manga chapters are planned in advance there is no way he changed a whole storyboard to keep Byakuya alive that quickly. Sometimes authors just don’t want certain characters to die. Like gran tarino, like all might, like kakashi, like Guy, like almost every one piece character, like Roshi. If he genuinely wanted to change it he would have done it in the anime.
@@masterp8929 then tell us when Kubo ever said this or even alluded to that being the reason and we will agree. Sorry to tell you this but everything you’re saying is an assumption with 0 footing. Also Kubo left Twitter for a bunch of reasons one of which being mental health another being someone impersonating him in Japan which you can actually look up and see is real.
The misunderstanding here is that Ichigo asked to bury him in the human world which means he is allowed to go to the soul society. Yamamoto wanted to get rid of the corpse. That’s why Yamamoto said to Ichigo “you know what that means” or whatever with him asking to bury him in the human world. Also confirms Tsukishima died on Shishiguwara’s back. Also Qunicies are humans so yes Ichigo is half human a quincy is a kind of human they are technically the exact same thing.
Yeah, Ginjo did die, but where do the souls of people go when they die? The soul society. That’s why he appears there. Ginjo did die and as a result him as well as other crew members that passed on appeared in the soul society.
12:55 my favourite anime character of all time.... Honestly it's also sick the fact that Sternritters were a problem in general against the captains to force them to use their bankai and the jail Sternritter had so many arrancars under arrest only for my character to come out of nowhere, slash him once like how Kenpachi dealt with that executioner in the fullbring arc down the middle. 😁😁😁😁😁👌🏾🥃

This is one of the weaker episodes of the TYBW imo. It's still a good episode, but I felt they rushed through some parts and skipped important information. Fun fact: The episode intermission cards that you see in the middle of each episode often contains important information. Sometimes its old info to refresh the viewer, while other times its new info that's important for the episode. The only downside to this is that they don't translate them for other languages. This episode's title card contains extra information on broken bankais. This info was in the manga (Ch. 516) but was cut out of the episode, probably to save time. It talks about bankais that have broken in the past, including Renji's and Ikkaku's, and it describes how Komamura bankai is unique. I really wish this was kept in the episode. As for Byakuya surviving, I'm mixed about it. I don't mind that he survived, but it does lessen certain scenes that happen much later in the arc.
About Ginjo: The reason why Ginjo's body was taken to soul society was to prevent him from getting in the cycle of reincarnation. That's why Yama asked if he was sure about the consequences of taking his body to the human world.
In the early arcs of bleach they censored the blood and leaned into the comedy, now in the blood war arc they censored the comedy and leaned into the blood. These studios just can't completely commit.
Kubo himself is the one that said they could cut out connect to created a certain atmosphere around the arc. This is after all the darkest and bloodiest arc and imo comedy would disturb some of that feeling.
I'm so sad they didn't add Mayuri's reaction to Kisuke from the manga 12:19. I dont really get it, it would've been a nice comedic scene too. 19:56 unbelievable how we couldnt get Rukia peach
Completely agree with Mayuris reaction. I mean its not just a comedic scene it shows how much he hates that Kisuke is such a genius lol. That plays a big part of Mayuris char trying to surpass him
Clarification, its not a spoiler because they will never directly say that in the anime, but your theory about the Squad Zero being the old members of the original Gotei 13 is wrong, all of those people we saw in the flashback from episode 7 will not come back at any point in the history, they were pretty much introduced in the anime only, like in the mangá they are mentioned but we never saw them, so yeah the Squad 0 members are totally different from the Original Gotei 13

Kind of refreshing when they stitch together the bits of info to build up Ichigo's family tree basically
I always watch your reaction/discussions till the end. I think you guys have the perfect length for discussion. Not too long nor too short. Just how I like it.
You guys do remember... soul society IS the place where dead people go to AFTER they die... Soul society "is the afterlife"...
23:50
@@YaBoyRockLee That is why my comment was an affirmation though... You DID remember!!! XD most reactors i watched forgot that... i was being proud of you guys...
I love it when Directer Nasty, starts yelling and screaming getting hyped-up!!!! 😆...Sweet!
Tsushima died on the kids shoulders, it's a tragic end for them two because their friendship opened up at the end.
Lol I love how on the money you are with squad 0 having Ichigo's friends brought with them. 🔥
I reached end of the discussion favourite part 😂
Dont forget ichigo's Dad was in fact a natural soul reaper who also is of Royal blood. So if he does have relatives up there in sole society that's why. Uncle
Sometimes people don't die when they are killed, and in a anime where souls exist, you can kill a human twice
Uncle Tsukishima helped train Isshin. Looks like everyone forgot.
Ichigo went to get Ginjos physical body which was seized by SS, but his soul was in SS(rukongai)
Being mayuri test subject not even Kon deserve that fate
Im so glad it was explained in the manga when it came out years ago, its easier to understand
Kenpachi’s poem is so heartfelt and melancholy, personally its my favorite. At first glance it feels so uncharacteristic of Kenpachi, but also its one of the best looks into his character. Its simple, but so perfect.
Y'all are almost done then y'all gotta wait for more Bleach just like the rest of us
Just a reminder to Aizen's conversation with Kisuke about the Soul King as he was being sealed.
"Why would you choose to subjugate yourself to that THING?!"
"So, you saw IT."
Make of that what you will.
Not just any soul reaper pappy. A soul reaper noble pappy just to further rub it into byakuyas face
Maybe then getting ishinn coming back to lead his own clan again and bringing back their status as the 5th noble family as they come in on the side of rukia
And then finally getting some back story into just what each of the roles of the noble family’s actually were before old man Yama stepped in and created the court guard and took over their responsibilities
Ishin- family seems to be in charge of actually getting to the soul kings palace.
I made it to the discussion. Nice that Ichigo got to see his cousins for a moment before he left with Squad Zero.
Y’all argue about this every week lol
You guys must have not read the manga of this time of release when all this was going down, is ok, believe what you want to believe
Im so glad that you got the shiba family connection between ishin kain and ichego
The surprise in every reactors face when they see Squad Zero's personalities lmao.
Yeah, Ginjo did die, but where do the souls of people go when they die? The soul society. That’s why he appears there. Ginjo did die and as a result him as well as other crew members that passed on appeared in the soul society.
The part on Ginjo, Tsukishima etc their journey will be in CANT FEAR YOUR OWN WORLD series which will happen after TYBW anime concluded in the future.
Now this is where things get turned on there head.
The way he tossing Byakuya 🤣
Fullbringers are hymen so when they die their soul go to the Soul Society, on the Rukingai where Kukaku found them!
So Ichigo father is part of Shiba family well that explain why Ichigo and kaien look so much Alike
Remember the people Ichigos Dad is related too are One of the four royal families like Byakuya & Yoroichi
These next several episodes have little to do with fighting and are some of the best episodes in all of Bleach.
🐐'd
14:12 We know why Ichigo looks like Kaien now.
Anyone saying skip that arc is real dumb. It wasn't a filler arc.
I made it to the end of the discussion.
Mr Shu asked me to.
And no one made it to this part of the discussion. Lol
Watched till the end of the discussion. I’m glad y’all caught the thing about them all actually dying
Thank you man
Out of every reaction channel that I've seen I never saw a reverse video copyright instead of editing the video out every couple minutes you edit the background out. Good idea 👍
Thank you 🙏🏽
Finally my boy the primordial being Ichibei
Yooooo love how you guys reacted to this episode. Can't wait for the next one!!!
Too many reveals this episode. But the thing is, it's just the start😂
I wonder what will be your reaction on a certain 'Kenpachi' in the next episode 😂
Nice to see the ultimate goddess Kukaku in this. 😊
I think the reason why Soul King asked bring Rukia, Renji and Byakuya because they close to Ichigo.
Who'd have thought Kukaku was Ichigo's cousin?
Ichigos dad took on his wifes name Kurosaki , his original name was Shiba ... thats where the uncle comes from ...
Ichigo literally stayed in his family home when he first went to soul society
I made it to that damn discussion 😤 the next couple episodes are fireeeee!!! 🔥
None of the members of Squad 0 were part of the original Gotei 13. Almost all of the original Gotei 13 are dead
Sqaud 0 is not the 'savages' in the flashback we saw. Those are 1 gen gotei 13. Squad 0 is not a part of gotei 13.
Basically, Yhwach is all Quincy father because his blood run through all Quincy bodies..
23:55 you’re right rocklee. I didn’t make it to that part of the discussion 😔
Lol
14:48 talk that talk Director 😤
I'm so sad they didn't add Mayuri's reaction to Kisuke from the manga 12:19. I dont really get it, it would've been a nice comedic scene too.
19:56 unbelievable how we couldnt get Rukia peach
The anime cut off a lot of comedy and to be fair Rukia's peach wasn't even that good of a joke. Masaki's yams tho, I will never forget lmao
@@gabrieldossantos1116 Buff Kon should have been introduced in this episode.
Completely agree with Mayuris reaction. I mean its not just a comedic scene it shows how much he hates that Kisuke is such a genius lol. That plays a big part of Mayuris char trying to surpass him
@@gabrieldossantos1116 but it's not a joke. It's fanservice. I did manage to find an artist who animated the scene tho.
@@muchoyurdem5260 Mayuri's my third favorite captain after Byakuya and Kenpachi.
Spoiler. You got this one nailed to the head. The Squad Zero's motive is to make sure that Ichigo comes with them that's why they got Rukia and Renji as well. Their plan B is to turn Ichigo into... You'll find out in Cour 4.
great reaction guys i can't wait for the last 4 eps :)
YALL HAD ME WAITIIINNGGG!!! lol love yall
