Exactly 💯 I'm a 63-year-old nurse working at a hospital in the US Midwest and used to do home care for some of these people. They live in rundown shacks in the country with tattered Trump flags flying and don't seem to understand that Trump would never allow them anywhere close to Mar-a-Lardo 😂

That’s not true, my friend does all the plumbing for his hotels and I’ve gotten to meet Trump, he is the nicest and funniest guy! SCOTUS just tossed regulations out and took the teeth out of regulatory agencies by doing so, and that combined with if the Orange Caligula wins, he'll put people with little to no experience in jobs where you typically need a specific college degree plus years of experience working in that particular agency among multiple levels/positions of it. Couple this with no appreciation for how anything works. I also guarantee you that because these people have no experience or good intent, we'll see: security breaches, dissolution or slowing of vital months/years-long projects, disruption of basic agency processes/communication, and rampant misuse of agency resources and time. All of which will affect you and I in yet to be seen ways, if this does happen. Idiocracy wasn't supposed to be a how-to guide but here we are.

I’m an Irish fan. Love the show. This episode was very grim and very terrifying. If Trump gets in we will enter into incredibly scary, dark and dangerous times. In a poll in Ireland Irish people were asked who they would vote for. Trump got a measly 16%.

Orthodox priest here trying to clarify: What's mandated in Christianity and the Bible is that the New Testament is a new covenant. It's a sin to abide by the Old Covenant, which is the Old Testament. The Old Testament is for historical purposes only; Leviticus is an instruction manual for activities within holy spaces only, not for all of life. Any person or religion that cherry-picks from the Old Testament cannot be Christian, period.

As a gay man with a lot of religious trauma in my past, I've been completely shut down since around Christmas and partially shut down since the pandemic, except for the 2-3 months in 2021 when Trump was out of our lives. What blissful months those were. Life is too short to live this way, but I cannot live normally with the threat that Trump and the Southern Baptist Convention currently pose to this country and all of our lives.

And we are both atheists. We discuss the possibility of Trump being reelected and Project 2025 and how we will present ourselves. We will conform to whatever we have to just to save our lifestyle.
We are both seniors and terrified of living in a hermit society. It really breaks my heart.

Living in a city, in such close proximity to other people, sharing walls and stairs and elevators and walking spaces inherently requires tolerance of other people. The intolerance of others is bred in rural and even suburban areas bc everyone has their “own” space and therefore they feel ownership over everything. Entitlement is bred in the suburbs.
I spent 43 years living in rural/suburban areas. I bought a house in the city 3 years ago and have never met nicer, more welcoming people of every race, religion, spectrum of gender and have experienced more acceptance than any time spent amongst religious people. In my city when crime happens it’s amongst people who know each other or wackadoo who came in from the country and cause trouble in the city.i feel safer in the streets at night here than in some backwards deliverance-like country road. I’ll take urban living any day-unless I can be so far out I don’t have to deal w any of those sick mo-fos wearing red hats😂

I must admit, I am frightened because I know some, old HS friends, who will not bother to study exactly what The Heritage Foundation has outlined. Hell, they did not even know it exists and has for years. The same think tank that thought going to war in Iraq was a great idea. For what? To enrich their lives more while young, ignorant, easily manipulated men do their bidding?
