I bet when you think of the Great Wall you think of how boring it sounds just like you thought of King Arthur legend of the sword. And I think this is a good thing to think about because the Great Wall is surprisingly as good as King Arthur The Legend Of The Sword is. And the 3D was outstanding in both of them
Predator 3D is the best way to watch the movie. The 4K just highlights the age of the film, and is a sandstorm of grain. The DNR helped the movie, and the 3D helps hide the DNR drawbacks. The 3D disc's added depth makes the film more immersive, whereas the 4K is so dirty looking, it takes you out of the movie. Wish we had more classics converted to 3D, because the 3D versions of Jurassic Park and Titanic are the best ways to watch those movies as well. Too bad they will likely never release the Star Wars 3D conversions for the 6 George Lucas films, that were created, but never released.
@@TommyBoy3D maybe that makes a big diff , I’d heard about the great depth but on my tv i wasn’t seeing anything great It’s still an amazing film and I’m glad on the projector it looks great
Ha ha, don't worry mate, you're not alone: I also think the 3D in this one is really poorly done. Funnily enough, I think I've only ever seen two of GFF's reviews that I fairly strongly disagreed with: This one, and The Walk. Still, total respect for him and old Tommy too of course!
@@trullithebest Yeah, I seem to remember Go Find Fun's review of The Walk was unenthusiastic and he wasn't especially impressed with its 3D. Predator, on the other hand, he thought looked really good in 3D. Weird, huh?
Trivia: While Stan Winston was brainstorming designs for the Predator, it was James Cameron who said his "Terminator" crew member and friend: "You know, I've always wanted to see something with mandibles." Winston said, "Mmm, that's an interesting idea." And the rest is history.

Really loved the facts on the making of the movie!! Very cool!! Saw it back in the day in the theaters, and saw it this past year in 3D at my house.

Good points. I heard some of the film brought out to the jungle was the wrong type causing grain in some scenes as well as what you mentioned.
Great background info Tommy! Love the movie, didn’t need 3d for it to be one of the best. BUT i will buy it in 3d!

That's what I heard all the time. Once I watched go find funs review it changed my mind. The 3D is as I said on the projector anyways.
