- The Transit Connect is pretty much in a class of its own offering a spacious and very versatile interior capable of accommodating up to 6 passengers or easily converting into a cargo van by folding the seats down. It may feel spacious on the inside but overall the Transit Connect is a fairly small vehicle making it a lot easier to maneuver in tight city and urban environments. If you are looking for a vehicle with third row seating but a conventional minivan or midsize crossover is too big than you really need to check out the Transit Connect. The 2.0 4 cylinder engine is matched to an 8-speed automatic transmission helping it get excellent gas mileage, 24-mpg city and 28-mpg highway.

I purchased my 2022 Ford Transit Connect new. The transmission went out at 78000 miles the dealer charged 8,200 dollars to rebuild the transmission.😢
Thanks for the video. What’s the driver’s side legroom like? Specifically, can you stretch out the left leg pretty well or does the wheel well get in the way?
I'm almost 6 feet two inches and I have lots of leg room. I almost bought one for a daily driver and legroom was not an issues for me in the drivers seat.

There's the Dodge ProMaster and Nissan nv200. This respond into when you said there's nothing like this on the market
Those are only available as cargo vans, so those are not a good comparson. The Transit connect is availabe in either cargo or passanger configuation. The Transit in the video is of the passanger configuration.

Their transmissions go bad . WORST transmission.
Is it the same tranny from the first and second gen?
Apparently not the new ones? I have a 2013 Ford Focus and yeah, the 2010s Fords had awful transmissions. Supposedly they fixed it.
@@peep3616 i have 2018 ford Transit connect and i had to replace the transmission under warranty. My car only had 55k miles on it at the time.
Still have it. Hopefully this time will last longer.

Well you are right they are not made anymore. They still exist though, there are used ones that people can still buy!
