That, and the maintenance base there, that used to be owned by TWA and then American, is now owned by another private company who still overhauls aircraft there. I'd love to get a tour of that faculty someday. As always, thanks for watching my friend!
You can often find quite the collection of aircraft there now. After AA took over TWA, they continued to use the base for awhile, but they eventually left. Now it's owned by another company that always has a very unique lineup. I believe some airlines store aircraft there as well, but I'm not 100% sure about the goings on of their operations. I've seen a lot of Air Canada planes there recently. I'd love to tour the facility someday.
Are my eyes bad, at takeoff did the plane get off the ground ( or almost) then get back on ground for about 2 seconds? ✈️ Great landing!! Thank you for sharing!
Hmmmm. That's a good question. I don't even really remember because I won't take a flight if it's too expensive. I'm on a budget here, you know. I've never really paid crazy prices for a flight before. I mean, even my first class flight from CLT-HNL was only $97. I bought it on a fare sale, and then used my upgrades to get first. I did pay over $500 for the inaugural Hawaiian MCO-HNL flight. That was an expensive one, but I knew it'd be worth it. Honestly, that may be the most expensive one-way flight I've ever taken. Edit: Oh wait. I paid over $1,000.00 for the final American MD-80 flight. So, never mind. That's it. That's the most expensive one-way flight I've ever taken.
Have I thought about it yes. I have done some in the past. You can find those on the channel. I visited DUB, LHR, LIS, and CDG. I don't do it more often, well now because of Covid and travel restrictions, and because I typically only have 3 days per week that are viable flying days. I work a regular full time job, and it's really difficult to get to Europe and back in 3 day. If this channel ever becomes my only job, then you'll see a lot more international flying.
I often do the same. Of course, now we can just pull up FR24 on our phones and see where it came from, but I still remember when I was a kid. Just sitting at LAX watching planes come and go. No idea where any of them were going. Well.. I mean some of them you knew, but most you didn't. So it was just your imagination. Things were a lot simpler back then haha.
@@notaperson7678 not quite. Any part of the camera that touches the window means the vibrations get transferred into the lens. This causes the footage to be distorted. The camera can’t lean against any part of the aircraft. So I hold it by hand, and have to keep it stable without using the the aircraft to help.
Loved it. Those awesome thick, low clouds and rain made the approach and landing even more spectacular/exotic-looking.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching man!
This IS A. GREAT. WAY. TO RELAXE. & ESXCAPE. &DREAM
That new terminal is going up!
that was 1 buttery landing ❤️
Excellent work again mate! That looked like a fair build up of stored aircraft on the ground at MCI!

Greatest youtuber ever
Thanks my friend! I appreciate that!
Always liked touching the door edge before getting onboard
As far as I'm concerned, it's aviation law that you must touch the door of the plane when boarding. Thanks for watching my friend!
I just started watching your videos a few days ago. I really like them so now l am a subscriber 😄
Thanks my friend. I really appreciate that!
Quite the collection of acft at the former TWA overhaul base. Noticed a L-1011 that must be one of the last ones flying. Nice video, as usual.

these videos are awesome! ill be flying to Europe this week and these help me with my fear of flying.
I'm glad they're helping you with that my friend!
Wonderful review!
Glad you liked it!
Excellent 👏🏾👏🏾
I was going to point out how fast the flight attendant announcements were, but then I heard it was a Boston based crew, and all was explained.
🤣
The a320 is my go to plane whenever I fly delta. Did you feel crammed when sitting in the main cabin?
Not really. And I’m 6 foot 2 inches tall.

Stunning 👍👍
Great fly! What is the most expensive flight that you fly so far?

Nice one! Have you thought about doing flights abroad in Europe, just to switch things up a bit? :)

@@sla31 Alright, makes sense! Thanks
I always wonder where the plane iscoming from when approaching the gate

smooth landing slightly late tho
Nice video. Except I feel bad when I see (1:00) the front gear does not perfectly center on the yellow line.
Same
How to you keep the camera so still for so long?
Lots of practice and sore muscles haha.
Lol he just leans it against the window
