I remember stepping off the plane at MCI on a flight from LAX years ago, on TWA I think it was, early in the morning and all I could smell was corn! It was great!.
I’ll definitely see what I can do. Sadly my recent United 787-9 flight, where I had a Polaris seat got cancelled due to thunderstorms…. Otherwise there would’ve been one recently.
I wondered who would mention this first. So… I don’t “review” airlines on this channel. I just show flights, so we can all share our love of aviation. I try not to ever show any of the airlines in a bad light, even if I was unhappy on the day in question. That said, if the context of a less than ideal situation can help explain a situation, I’ll give that info out. We took quite a maintenance delay on the flight. The problem in question involved the flaps and hydraulic pumps. That’s why they were already lowered when we pushed. They had been working on them for quite awhile and had already lowered them when the mechanic was still onboard. Being a flight to a point where most of the traffic was destination traffic, there wasn’t much complaining from the passengers. Delta handed out free headphones for those who didn’t have any, and We all pretty much just watched movies while they fixed it.
I’m definitely trying. Delta isn’t scheduling many of them domestically. Not that it has to be domestic, but I don’t typically have enough time from my regular job to go International. Recently, the only domestic A350 service I can find are red eyes, that are mostly in complete darkness.
I have a job, that pays me money in return for services I provide haha. I do also make some money off the ads you see, and form my Patreon supporters. That money all goes back into the channel.
Looks like that pilot took off in the wrong direction to have to make that deep a turn right out of take off from SLC, I was hoping to see the mountains on the way up!! That deep mine pit is near the glide path. I'm always looking out for it at SLC.
Pilot took off in the wrong direction? Are you serious? I guess he did that because he just kind of, you know, felt like it, huh? Never mind the instructions he's getting from the tower and ATC.
@@tradewins I was saying that I was familiar with takeoffs from SLC already, and the plane took off and went into a deep turn right off the runway. That's all I was saying. That usually does not happen. So winds must have been coming from the other direction for the pilot to have to turn the plane so drastically after take off.
I too was hoping to get more views of the mountains. But with winds, you never know what you’re going to get. It’s not very interesting just looking off into the sky is it haha? Thanks for watching man!
I fly out of SLC all the time - if you have to go east like Chicago, KC etc. if you take off to the South you make that lovely right hand turn or if going to the northwest like Portland, Seattle etc.
Comments like this astound me… Seriously, you get to watch all 2,000 of my videos absolutely free… You don’t have to pay me a cent directly. And yet I still get comments everyday from people scolding me for not having no ads on my videos… Those ads are the only reason I can even create videos. I’ve been posting for 8 years and you know how many people on those 8 years have stepped up to help financially support the content via Patreon of channel memberships? 60. Out of over 1,000,000 viewers every month. If I had no ads, this channel wouldn’t exist and then you couldn’t watch any of the videos. And by the way, I have way less ad breaks on my videos than most flight channels… Think about that before making another comment like this man… I sacrifice a lot to continue posting videos and the ad revenues do a little to help make that easier. Do you think you should work for free for everyone else’s benefit? I bet not. So don’t chastise creators for trying to make ends meet by having ads on their videos…
@@sla31 I truly understand but try to put them at the end of the video or the start. The reason why is because i keep rewatching your videos and use the audio while im studying and it helps me focus until an ad about weight loss pills pops up.
Listen my friend, I get it. I do… But it doesn’t matter. Even if I selected to completely remove all ads that would do nothing but harm myself. UA-cam is going to put ads on my videos whether I want them or not. Even if I went in and deleted all mid roll ads, UA-cam would still show ads there, I just wouldn’t get any of the money. The only way to truly watch with no ads is to get a UA-cam Premium subscription.
Gotta love the “Barking Dog Sounds” on the a320s
I was going to say he could probably get a jump start from the tug.
I remember stepping off the plane at MCI on a flight from LAX years ago, on TWA I think it was, early in the morning and all I could smell was corn! It was great!.
After climbing out over Utah Lake, it's totally overcast until 48:46 and suddenly the ground view opens up!
Ahh the Classical A320 after a looong time!
Another great flight.
Super enjoyable video mate! Starc difference in weather between the departure and arrival locations!
Isn’t that the truth. Sometimes those make the best flights. The contrast makes it just a little more interesting. Thanks for watching my friend!
Thank you for the great content!!! :)
No problem my friend. Thanks for watching!
Slc has one of the best takeoff views from that angle 👌
Wow love ur vids man keep it up😃😃😃
May all your landings in life be as smooth as that one was!
Awesome trip and footage as always! this plane looks quite old, even the microphone is barely working
Over 22 years old. She's seen a lot of flying in her life, that's for sure.
Flying into SLC on frontier in less than a week on the NEO!!! Very excited!!!!!!
can you do more united 787-8 flights if possible? would be really cool. anyways awesome video✌

@@sla31 awww
It’s escapism this makes me feel whole.
Haha, I will be on that exact plane and in that exact seat in a couple days
No turbulence,,, 🥶👍
I miss the journeys like that
we have lost our minds !!
Nice
It’s kind of rare for the flaps to be out before pushback. I have never seen that in my life. 😧
Ah yes very true
If the aircraft is parked when it's over 30°C, or 86°F, the flaps are kept at 1 so that the overheat sensor doesn't go off in the slats.

Pls try getting Delta A350 full inflight video.

Can you fly sun country
Great fly! Do you like Airbus neo planes?
Love them.
Cool
Looooooooooove itttttt
How do you make the money to take these trips

I am surprised Airbus planes are popular in the USA
Let's be real - with as good a product as Airbus offers, should we be surprised?
Yo
FAs sound like they’re from KATL. ha.
