The best looking midsize sedan in the street
Honestly would go for this over Altima and Accord
Well. Style wise its still from 2011 and it still looks good for 2019
I'd get this over any BMW since they are still in the dark about using Android Auto, a HUGE misstep for the company.
I have a 2017 and I must say, forget driving dynamics, but it literally has more features than the base 5 series for a fraction of the price. It doesn't hurt that it looks better than its competition too
I went from a 2011 bmw to a 2015 accord exl and i dont regret it lmfao. Im pretty sure i will still be satisfied with the optima. Even bmw dosent have a pano roof unless you get their suv or the 6 series

CKPHH new model won’t be here till 2020-2021. I’ll probably end up just doing a 2 year lease until the new model is announced or just check out the new Chevrolet blazer when it hits dealers

I wonder if UVO allows phone app lock, engine start, and air conditioning control on this new Optima. I have the 2015 Sonata 2.0t Limited and I love it, but I don't like the styling directions they took with the refresh. The upcoming Optima is pretty close to my Sonata, but the only thing missing from current models is the remote app functionality.
Yes! It actually does! I missed this feature in 2017 but the finally added it. It is called UVO Link. You have remote locking and climate control. I think it has to do with the addition of 4G because you need it in order to control from wherever.

The UVO Link app also supports remote vehicle locate, and the ability to send points of interest to the vehicle's built in navigation remotely.
@@phych I sell Kias, it's planned to roll UVO Link out to all of our mid and upper tier trims by 2020. Stinger may also get UVO Luxe which has a few more features.

my 2016 kia Optima SXL is having engine malfunctions, turbo problems, and their customer service/warranty program is trying to deny my coverage. Terrible customer service and so many issues for a new car. Would not recommend.

As far as leg room how does it stack up to the Passat?
Have the 2017, and had a loaner Passat once, it beats the Passat outright. Sitting in the back is honestly the most enjoyable in the Kia with massive leg room, pano-roof, heated seats and sun shades built in.
The Passat is suuuuuuper roomy. This is a good question.

The only thing I don't like is the heat doesn't have good output on the floor setting. They are all made this way apparently
I can’t speak for the newest kias but my 2012 is a pile of junk. I’ve had to replace both side mirrors due to the glass just falling right out. The passenger side electric switch failed and the oil return line for the turbo is leaking. The overall materials used in making this car are garbage and the resale value is garbage, and that’s if u wannna do a private sale. If u go to a dealer and try to trade it in they will just about laugh at you. Mine is the LSX and although the engine has held up the rest of the car is very cheaply made
please tell consumer reports because they ranked this car higher than camry and accord
It's 2019. The brand went though significant change real fast. Also offer 10 year warranty. So what's to worry? Let the dealer worry about it if it has any issues.
absolutely right. the seats came creased, paddles wiggly, threading on seats fraying, base of seat came unhinged. on a brand new kia
