- This talk is a pragmatic view of the relation between science and religion, it sheds light on the unexplored intricate relation between Hinduism and science. Sunil Dutt was born into a family of orthodox Brahmans. His grandparents were the first disciples of Swami Shivananda, pro partition in Delhi.
During his career of running an SSI (small scale industry) for about 30 years making agricultural machinery in Greater Noida, his interactions with local farmers, businesses and events turned out to be teachings which helped in understanding life, playing a role in shaping human life. It made him realize that religious theories are meant to be passed in life if one has to have any understanding of what it is saying in essence. Researching the holy books, rituals unfolded an experience so extraordinary that all else became immaterial of what was traditionally taught to him.
The Speaking Tree on the internet came as a blessing tailor-made through which he has been sharing his views for the last 7 years. He has translated books like Geeta, Patanjali Sutra and soon will be published. His work endeavours to get to the essence that is religion as a whole and avoid any misconceptions about it, especially Hinduism which is a science of being - How and why is this world including us the way it is? Am an African from Kenya and am a Christian l have listened to Gayatri mantra for 2 years now and I have seen miracles and I stopped reacting to people and situations am now a calm person and happy Gayatri mantra is the mother of all mantras and it's an universal mantra anybody can listen to it Gayatri mantra clear past present and future karmas you better try it 💝💗

oṃ bhūrbhuvaḥ svaḥ। tatsaviturvareṇyaṃ bhargo devasya dhīmahi।
dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt॥
Hindi Translation:
ॐ हम उस दिव्य सूरज का ध्यान करतें हैं, जो सभी को प्रकाशित करता है, जिनसे सभी आगे बढ़ते हैं। हे प्रभु, क्रिपा करके हमारी बुद्धि को उजाला प्रदान कीजिये और हमें धर्म का सही रास्ता दिखाईये।
English translation:
We meditate on the glory of that being (Savitur, the sun) who has produced this universe, who is the essence of our life existence; May we imbibe his divinity and brilliance within us.
Science is coming to Hinduism, it took time but quantum will do it🙏

Earlier I was chanting Gayatri mantra randomly without checking the facing direction.
One day in a dream I saw a person standing opposite to the direction of Sun and chanting (Sun rays were falling on his back)
Since then I am following directions as well.
Basically we have to face east in morning and noon and west in evening and ideally should also view the Sun light outside.
=> As per current neuroscience research exposure to morning sunlight increases our cortisol levels , leading to better metabolism , immune function and ability to focus. It also helps regulate the circadian clock ,our bodies internal clock, that helps regulate all bodily processes.
Facing west in the evening and viewing the evening sunset may signal to the brain that the body needs to be brought into the state of relaxation (Research is ongoing on this).

I think in the 21st century, religious organisations should voluntarily move away from politics and start investing on science that furthers spirituality and peaceful existance. For example, hindu temples could use their funds and assets on promoting social justice, environmental sustainability, wild life protection or commercial production of lab grown meat. How about investing on psychology and mental health?
These are the things of future, and if hinduism is to lead humans into an enlightened existance, it must be proactive. Leave politics for politicians and technocrats. Invest on science for an enlightened future.

He's saying that when we born, 7 clocks are set in our body according to planets position. Then some positions of planets are positive for us and some are negative as per astrology.
The Gayatri mantra means that o lord of counciousness, fill our soul and body with cosmic enlightenment.
