“Chonks come and go, but bangers are forever” - Nik Nocturnal
Only real ones understand
@@dookinatormcintyre2734 💯
“Chonks come and go, but bangers are ETERNAL”
@@azhardware8369 chonks may be temporary but bangers are eternal
@@curseth_9640 Exactly, but Doom is eternal too.
Motionless in White: writes Cyberhex without Mick Gordon which sounds like doom soundtrack.
Also motionless in White: writes a song with Mick Gordon which sounds like just Motionless in White
Touche xd
My thoughts exactly
For all we know, it must've been an error for the feat. LOL!
LOL
I can't help but feel no one has taken advantage of Gordon's heaviness capabilities to the best yet
I feel like Mick is mainly used for his synth skills in these collabs, which are great nonetheless. But I agree, he writes great heavy music as well
I would say that the bmth feat came up there
@@jay-55X close but not in that dienty way. Like I can’t help but feel that Doom style he had would do well with vocals
YES
Honestly, I couldn't even tell Mick was on this song at all.
I think Rick’s vocals really added an uplifting layer to the song. Loved it.
Yep Ricky is a great singer
Taking into account that this is the last track on the album, I think how they closed the song off works really well. A breakdown would’ve been dope but in this case I don’t think the lack of one made the song worse
the last track on the album should have been "Burned at both ends II"
Tøp is the best band
TØP and MIW? I think we have a similar taste in music
Everytime I hear the Last part. It gives me goosebumps. Its so beautiful.
I’m glad it subverted expectations. Everyone expected a face melter with Mick attached, but what we got was an awesome more ballad esque song. Chris’s singing is awesome. I guess the doom track folks expected would be cyberhex
It was all good. For those of us who are used to listening to Mick Gordon's DOOM soundtrack, there was that heaviness and aggressiveness, for those of us who like Chris's angsty and powerful voice, there was that too. It was great!
this is what i would have imagined Cyberhex would have been.
Slaughterhouse was def the heaviest i feel
@@chemicallistic I almost wondered if they got the track titles mixed up lmao
I absolutely love how much more prominent Ricky is becoming with his vocals. Such a great guitarist and vocalist. Also I love the lyrics of the song along with the music of course. But I like how this closer is basically saying the world is now apocalyptic but they’re helping bring some hope to a war torn world with music.
Actually, if you're referring to the vocals at the end of the final chorus, that is actually Mick himself. Ricky didnt do any vocals on this song
@@rosaevydaemoniea948 That's false. It is Ricky
@@rosaevydaemoniea948 if u listen to their other songs with ricky singing it’s very obvious his voice is very recognizable and fuckin sexy and perfect i want more ricky vocals
Love how Mick is doing featurings with so many talented bands!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thought this track was also gonna be heavy but I must say I still like this track a lot, can’t wait for the whole album to release for sure
the "heavy" songs on the album are "slaughterhouse" "Cause of death" "Burned at both ends II" and BFBTG: corpse nation"
@@ner3224 oh okay can’t wait to hear those tracks just 7 more days
@@ner3224 only one I liked was Cause of Death. Yes I've already heard the album. Slaughterhouse is the heaviest song on the album
@@Rizwaan122 how
@@bobithpopit3193 has been leaked for 2 weeks if i am not mistaken
I got Rammstein vibes in the beginning. Specifically Mein Teil. What a sick colab with Mick!
Didn't make that connection by myself, but yeah! Now that you say it, I get some real Mein Teil vibes!
100 percent hear it now that you said it has that like industrial almost vibe
I scrolled through these comments specifically looking for someone to mention Rammstein. You win!
Ricky’s part is everything to me right now.
OMG THIS SONG GIVES ME SOOO MUCH LIFE! I cant imagine how HUGE this song is going to be live
Gives me the vibes of acceptance that the world is ending.
I really dig the sound. Certainly not my favorite release so far, still goes to Slaughterhouse, but I can really relax to this and enjoy.
Everybody should know that Mick Gordon is not only Doom, I mean I also expected the song to be heavy but I still like it, both parts enjoyed working together so maybe they can make another collab in the future.
I guess I'll be the only one to say I'm a bit disappointed by it. Mick Gordon is mostly famously known for chugs on a super downtuned 8 string. If you attach his name to a song, that's what people are coming for. So if he doesn't bring that style, it subverts expectations to where it's like, what was the point of having him there. This song is weak just as a MIW song even before you attach Mick Gordon's name, but when you attach Mick Gordon's name, it's even more disappointing. His name writes a check of super downtuned chugs which this song did not cash, and there's nothing definitively Mick Gordon in this track that MIW couldn't have done themselves.
This song was one of the only songs I've ever been hyped for after hearing it would feature Mick Gordon, and it's just...unremarkable.
Every MIW song that they have released so far for this upcoming album has been amazing! I'm freaking stoked for this new album!!!
Chris is really flexing is vocal range and capability this album, from industrial cyberhex, to making you cry in masterpiece, to getting absolutely destroyed in slaughterhouse.
Easily one of the best motionless songs.
Not in the slightest lol
definitely one of the songs ever
For me Slaugherhouse>Cyberhex>End of the world>Masterpiece I just want to hear more Chris's screams.
100% agree
Second this... This band has been my favourite over the years... Hope they dont go soft
there are 4 "heavy" songs on the album, "Slaughterhouse" "Cause of death" "Burned at both ends II" and "BFBTG: Corpse nation" and maybe "Meltdown" a bit
This but cyberhex is the best for me
@@ner3224 have you listened to it already?
This song is a theme song to world cup in Football/olympic games or something like that, its huge af!
Awesome song, cant wait for album!
I was expecting more doom from mick but still a great song, honestly cyberhex sounded more doom
2:57 that live guitar made me so happy!!! 🥺🤣🤣🤣
Reminds me of their song Legacy tbh which I wasn't a fan of but still love this band for putting out great music
I expected the build up would summon brutal doom breakdown but the melody and harmony of vocals of Chris with Ricky got me , goosebumps 💀🔥🤘
It was great but like , i guess we need some more XP to unlock Mick gordon heavy mode lmao .
You have honestly grown to be my favourite reaction channel Nik. Love your content every time you upload, your streams are fun and your edits are hilarious. Thanks for this. I am more of a silent watcher, leaving a like but I felt like actually leaving some nice words. 🙏🏻
"endgame is the ultimate crossover!!1!"
these absolute madlands:
If you want demon slaying music that make you motivated (no pun intended) you should react to Bury the Light it is a video game track from the game Devil May Cry 5. It is so much fun to listen too. But besides that love your reaction and I gotta say, this song is so demon slaying music, and have a great day.
Been waiting for this all day 😆 twitch stream was hilarious
Every song they have put out so far on this new album is a banger. I'm so excited. This band has become one of my top favorites.
think Mick helped more with the synth layers on this instead of guitars
MiW: Guitars, drums, slight synth work
Mick Gordon, Production??, Synthwork
that’s how i’m guessing they made this
When i hear cyberhex, i Say Mike Gordon ???
Doom???
Is You??
I love seeing my favourite band being loved in these reaction videos. Also what's up with that UNFD classified band? I've so many comments about it!! Feel like I'm missing on something here. Is this for October Ends new song?
There is a new song from mire lore (old sanger of infant annihilator) called ashen memories, which is really sick. Its worth checking out
Love this song, in the same time a banger and an emotional song, kinda love the end Chris' singing is awesome
A combo a never knew I needed. I like the song. Guess I'll have to check out that album.
This song is my second best of this album right now
Dope! Great song writing and production. 👌🏽
"That's it" at the very end of the song sums it up. I'm waiting for rip and tear and instead I get Breaking Benjamin 2.0.
Main riff reminds me of Mein Teil from Rammstein
First 30 seconds was "Mein Teil"-esque
You know its the one when you see mick gordon in the title.
1:44 I was air drtrumming too lol, can confirm Im playing it wrong.
Absolutely love the whole album. Its filled with banger and catchy choruses
mate... you make me laugh man :) great review and funny AF
Sounds like it belongs on the MGR:R soundtrack and I love that so much
sounds like a video game sound track and i love it!!!!
Nik Nocturnal Ohohoho Yes Heavy🔥🔥🔥
Would love to see Nik’s reaction to Meltdown. It’s my go-to track to blast while out and about
NGL amazing production and some interesting little musical turns but I feels like so many songs I've heard already in my life. Good song overall. I guess I expected more.
I feel songs are too predictable nowadays
@@joey9426 it's all in successfull song formula, my friend. It sucks that many people just don't want more experimental stuff.
@@rolson99 May I spam myself by recommending my latest song? I try to be a bit less predictable, so there's that
Nic is in a breakdown waiting room now xD
That's always cute to watch him waiting for it))
Was good to see you on the MIW stream last night.
Gonna check out the stream tonight for sure ✌️
Can't wait for you to review that Darko US song Ana!its pretty brutal IMO!
I've seen mick being featured on more and more songs lately in metal. Makes me wonder if he's going to keep it up.
Solid banger 👌
Definitely dig the song, almost had a Rise Against feel towards the end.
Ricky sings alot of the chorus in this song i believe
I like this song more cause of the good vocals instead of the smashing that we got with almost every other song.
Good song, intro reminds me kinda like Rammstein with the riffs.
Finally someone noticed =)
Getting some Mein Teil vibes for sure
@Dragon Ball fans can't read K
@Dragon Ball fans can't read hey, it is our Karen again!
@Dragon Ball fans can't read yes.
Wish they would do another album like creatures
I’m glad they included Ricky in this
I've noticed that Chris so far included rapped vocals twice on this album, first in "Cyberhex" and then in this song. I think the last time we heard Chris do any rapping was in "Voices"? (It makes sense to me, though, what with Linkin Park influencing the band, tho. I'm all for some nu metal influences.)
You’re gonna love Sign of Life then
Chorus sounds a lot like teardrops by BMTH
You need to do Killing Time from the new Bleed From Within album!!!
I live for all the "wob wobs " tho 🔥🔥🔥
This gave me goosebumps to be honest.
This one (kinda) made me think of America from their album infamous. I liked it.
Nik, could you check out Valley Of Snakes? They’re fantastic but are a very small band at the moment and I think having them on your channel could get them the publicity they deserve
2:27 why does it make me laugh so much lol
I just find it funny that when Cyberhex came out nik said it reminded him of Doom.... lo and behold Mick Gordon
nobody talk about his hoodie, so nice to react to scoring the end of the world kekw
Lembra o chorus do Falko Rock me Amadeus
"If you goin' chunk give me some chunk" - Nik Nocturnal ❤🖤💜
oh trust me this album gets HEAVY ;)
a collab we did not know was needed but wanted for a long time definitely one of the best collabs ever just saying
NIk's channel is about the only way I listen to metal music these days.
The opening riff is so similar to the opening riff in rammsteins mein teil. Soooo similar dude
Lighter than Slaughterhouse, but still catchy
Not heavy, but still, it's MIW!!
The main riff reminds Rammstein - Mein Teil
You should react to some “Until I Awake”
you should review some of the bangers on Red Handed Denial's new album
Nik you ever get a chance to check out some of Frontierers new stuff? I think they'd make some great videos. They're like... djet-core? I unno super noisy synchopated metal. You'd like, it smash.
Entire album leaked and it's freaking banger!
ok
Just realised this songs verse sounds exactly like white rabbit by Egypt Central
That live guitar cover tho ...
Sounds like "If Korn used electronics" tbh
And also had lessbangerbreakdowns
Mick Gordon HAS to duet with either Ten56, Tallah, Darko US, Slaughter To Prevail, Paleface, or Brand Of Sacrifice.
BRUH Ten56 for sure, can just imagine the brutal breakdowns, god damn......
Are you still doing scores for songs Nik?
The intro made me go listen to the browning
This track gives me deadsy, orgy, breaking Ben all with the Gordon flare. Love it
I feel this song for anime soundtrack
3:55 welcoming? :D
Dude I need you to do a reaction to Dead Circus by Stain the Canvas. All the serious.
really waiting for your reaction to thornhill's new album
that major reminds me of Bb a lil bit
The most criminally underrated band EVER
Why does this remind me of Breaking Benjamin? It sounds like a song they would probably make to me.
I swear when I heard Cyberhex, I thought it was a Doom Eternal hidden track.
It reminds me of the last opening of Attack on Titans
best song of the world🔥
This is basically the new code
