I was high jumper (2,05 m, 1,65m tall !), We had mentally préparation before contest. That’s really important.
If the jump is in your mind, you ´ll do it !

Sports psychology originated in Russia. Sotomayor is an athletic phenomenon identifiable by recorded natural jumping ability. There are certain not easily observable mechanics tricks Sotomayor accomplishes. That many competitors are not aware of, on his big jumps. He does it very well on some jumps, and others times mediocre.

Mind control and belive are more effective than strength , power and plyometric training . When I tore my acl , after surgery doctor said your knees are so weak and other negative things but every day I pray to Allah and I trust him . All day Everyday I dreamed to be successful , to be stronger , faster , jump higher and have a bulletproof knees . After 1.5 years my surgery Now I have a 41-inch vertical jump And I'm running at 60 m short distance 7.08 (not bad) . Thanks to Allah.

Being Cuban, I feel very sad for our athletes, they have so much potential yet the communist government drives the Cuban people deeper into poverty and food scarcity. Cuba's infrastructure development came to a stall in 1959, after 1959 Cuba has been stuck in time.

I think he may have mind controlled that high jump bar to stay on its pegs....or to be really pliable and waiver up and down as he brushed and laid on it as he went over.....I'm not so sure his record will ever be beaten unless someone else can mind control the bar like that to keep it on its pegs......anyone else hitting the bar like that and it easily comes off....hard to accept his world record when you can hit and skim the bar like that and it somehow manages to stay on....
