Nice. Obviously this has more of an R&B vibe to it, real 90s for sure.
But that Sugar Jones version was 2001, added that new millennium flare to it. Plus even though I’m Canadian not being biased, but SJ version had better ad-libs added, the breakdown of “do you remember when days were, like that I was lovin you you love back, and now your missing me but I bet ya feel lonely, I bet you feel lonely”, and all around more smooth.
But both good versions nonethesless.

To help you with the date this song was released mid 1999 & was a number 11 hit on the 🇬🇧 charts. I think it was a poor version by the Canadian band IMHO because it was sung with a spice girl "girl power" attitude by time was old & boring. Originals are not always the best but this way by far more organic & with real emotion not fake feelings like the cover.
