Yes and I loved the scenes with lily and atlas so much it was beautifully done although for me I did feel it was rushed in some places.... give me more atlas please.....It starts with us movie ❤
I used to get migraines everyday at your age. A medical professional told me I wasn't getting enough water. That has helped tremendously. Also place a hot steaming wash cloth over your eyes for about fifteen minutes. You might have to steam it with super hot water a few times. It's a very quick relief that works for me.
Hi Alexa! First time commenting but long-time watcher! I am a migraine sufferer (it runs in my family) and what has helped me is a few things. First, I have a coca cola every day at lunch to give me a tiny caffeine boost (I don't drink coffee.) I never leave the house without Excedrin migraine medicine and the minute I feel a headache coming on, I take two. If I do not treat my headache (thinking I can sleep it off or that it will go away on its own) it will turn into a migraine. If I can't catch it in time, I still take two Excedrins, have a coke, and go to bed in a dark room. I hope this helps! :)
We just did the same hike with my matron of honor and her husband. It's so beautiful and our dog, Nugget, had such a great time! I'm glad that you're feeling more settled into this new home and enjoying Colorado. Just from the glimpses you've given us, the setup of this place looks so much cozier and welcoming 💕
Hi, Alexa. 😊 I think this is my first time writing to you. The other day I saw a video in which they recommended putting your feet in hot water; as hot as you can handle. A doctor explained in that video that this actually helps, since it makes the blood vessels in your feet to dilate, pulls the blood away from your head, and that reduces the pressure on the blood vessels that are causing your migrane. I hope this helps.😌
I have been dealing with chronic migraines since I was 12; sorry to hear that you get them. If the ache is pulsating and hollow, try putting an ice/cooling pad in a towel and then place it on your head, temples, etc. It helps me a lot usually. P.S. sun/heat is not good for people who are diagnosed with chronic migraine. Hope this helps you, much love Xx
NB: for your lick mat for your dog, try to put it a few hours in the freezer it’s so cool for the dog and they take more time to lick it! I always did it with my dog she loved it!
I have really bad migraines and ASMR in a dark room really helps me. Don't know if you like ASMR or if it works for you. Sound baths work too. Heat also works wonders for me.
I still get migraines, and now they are more nauseating ones, so I feel you on them not being so fun. I love following you on your day trips, book hauls and the movies on this one. I have not been to Garden of the Gods yet, and I have been here for 2 years lol. So glad to hear your take on the movie and book ... I hope to see it soon 🤞🏽
the way the pillows lined up with the music perfectly, chefs kiss also I'm from Co and you're making me miss it so much! I love being able to see you visit places that i grew up going to
Make sure you identify your triggers. Especially food triggers. For example, nitrates, cheese, lunch meat, alcohol, stress, skipping breakfast or going to long without eating, and caffeine withdrawal. As far as meds. I have tried everything and just take Sumatriptan as needed.
Hi Alexa, I have been a longtime migraine sufferer. Here are my suggestions: cold packs are extremely helpful! Washing my feet and alternating between hot and cold water has helped me. Take a magnesium supplement that was recommended by my neurologist is helpful. I have triggers such as paint and flashing lights so I avoid those triggers. Also just getting enough sleep and water is helpful as well! I recommend seeing a neurologist to obtain medication if they don’t improve. Additionally, if you get migraine with aura (aura is where you lose your vision or your vision becomes distorted beforehand) then make sure you are not on an estrogen based birth control as this can increase your risk of stroke. Also, if you got the migraine after hiking then perhaps it was heat related. Just some thoughts! I hope you feel better and keep experimenting with things to see what works for you!
As far as migraines, I feel you. I found that hydration and such helps but wasn't the solution. For me they were aggravated by tension. So see if you have any tension in your neck and shoulders, and if you do, try pressure point release. And if it is persistent or becomes regular, try going to a doctor, or Physical Therapy.
When I was 15-16, I had about a year and a half long where I was having migraines every single day, sometimes over lapping into the next day, and I’d get stomachaches with them as well, which I assume doesn’t apply to you. But I tried everything, went to a million doctors, tried different prescriptions, etc. and nothing worked. Eventually I went to a child neurologist and they diagnosed me with abdominal migraines (which just means they go hand in hand basically and one causes the other). However, since I tried absolutely everything, the only things that helped/ended up doing anything for me was getting my daith piercing (cartilage in the ear) and extra strength/migraine excedrin. The daith piercing is not guaranteed to do anything, but I got to the point I’d try anything, and considering it was only $50 including jewelry, I took the risk and it totally helped. It’s supposed to work by being on an acupressure spot to help stop/prevent migraines, and I went from a migraine every single day to maybe 2-3 a month, which is basically miraculous since no doctor could help me. Also once it’s healed, if you tug on the jewelry a bit when you do get a headache, it tends to help, but I also use excedrin when needed still. However I recommend seeing a neurologist to rule out anything else and see if something can help better than those, cause as I said the daith isn’t guaranteed and excedrin doesn’t work for everyone. But I hope you find relief somehow!!
Keep a food journal and notate when you get a headache (like after which food) and see if that stays consistent. Usually cheese is a trigger for migraines for me.
I would major migraines everyday after work and I got a headache cap on Amazon where u put it in the freezer for a bit and place on your head. It helped me so much and such cool relief. You can also microwave it for heated relief. I also got an ice face roller whenever I have migraines towards my sinuses and eyes. Another tip is to get fries and a coke from McDonald’s, idk why but it just works at least for me.
Hey lovely 💖 First I want to say all your videos make me smile, I just love them so much, please never stop making content ✨🫶🏻 I just have the best time watching them 🙌🏻 Also just love your puppy so much he just so cutttttte pretty please give him a big cuddle from me 🫶🏻🙏🏻 I hope you and your loved ones are having the most amazing week ever! ILY 💖✨🌸 🩵
I have to stay out of the heat to avoid migraines, walking in the heat is impossible for me 🙁 as soon as I feel the migraine coming, I put a cold patch on my head and rest. I limit reading and tv until it passes, boring but it helps it go faster!
I also have chronic migraines!! I recommend going to your doctor to get some blood work done :) I did that and was able to be put on a medication that really helps ease my migraines
Garden of the Gods is so beautiful! Didn't realize you moved to Colorado. We are here too! Let us know if you need any food recs or cool book places etc!
My doctor has me on magnesium and vitamin b2 for my migraines. don’t know 100% if it’s that because I’m also on two other medications for it 😔 but she said a lot of people say it works
I usually get rid of my migraines with a coke, McDonald’s fries, a cold rag/ ice pack AND a nap in a dark room 👌 works every time. But as a last resort I also pop in some excedrin migraine relief extra strength…. I’m sure there’s natural ways to get rid of them but I haven’t tried it…. Also mine are mostly hormonal and some of them happen when I’m also very anxious or procrastinating some tasks lol
I've had regular migraines for 8 yrs now. I suggest going to your primary care physician to possibly talk about preventative meds if you have them often. I had 6 to 9 per month. Anyway now my preventative meds have eliminated all but 1 every couple months. It did take a bit of trial and error until I found one that works.
Hello, Drink plenty of water also I use a hot towel and put it over my face and that usually works for me. Some people like to use ice packs too so it really depends on what works for you. You might be getting migraines because you changed your element since you moved. Hope this helps!! ❤
I also suffer of migraines all the time the only thing that help me is "Aleeve" pills and a hot bath!! the heat help with blood circulation and it get rid of the pain really fast !! I also have medication to prevent them that my doctor give me

Hey alexa, i see a lot of recommendations for prescription meds for migraines.. but i also just wanted to recommend acupuncture! Drink more water!! When I first moved to Colorado I had the worst migraines to the point where I couldn’t look at my phone for more than a few minutes.
