- A quick close up video on STI’s Staccato P 2011 handgun. Just got this one in recently and I wanted to share for anyone interested in picking one up. Not too much range time with it yet, but I will keep you updated if things go awry.
Bull barrels insure a tighter lockup at the muzzle, for guns not equipped with barrel bushings. The added weight of the bull barrel helps with muzzle flip.
Fantastic pistol I love mine. I actually had to do some searching for the 2019 model. I like this one over the new one.
Simplemente Preciosa y bella.
The surefire will fit you just have to loosen the 6 acres on top of the rail slide it on then tighten them back down
I use to want the Staccato C, still wouldn't mind having one.. until then I'll enjoy my Range Officer Champion 9mm, no fancy markings, rail or other upgrades but it's just as accurate as the staccato, far as group size there both similar... And the Bull barrel helps to add weight to the front off the gun at the same time giving it a tighter fitting position for better accuracy!!
I dont have the time to watch right now, just wanted to stop by and say thank you.
Florida Man your welcome! It’ll be here when you have time
Enjoy nice , I do believe we are ordaining the 2020 version after finding out some facts of buy a used Sti . 3 things will be different with the 2020"s barrel length, single peace guide rod . and a different hand grip... thanks again..
CZ 1always shorter dust cover, shorter beaver tail, more low profile grip safety, different hammer as well
Does the Stac P also have the ability to accept and use and RMSC(RMR) stock or this exclusively a Stac P DUO feature? I need to know which one to buy to have the ability to use an RMR.
Shano McPee yeah if you want to mount an RMR, you need the DUO. It’s about a $500 difference
Nice review
Shaun Donovan thank you!
Nice presentation/clean camera work. I just got one of these and am searching the internet for anything I can learn about them. How did it do for you at the range?
A C thanks! It shot like a dream for me. Really close groupings. That trigger really makes a difference!
Is the screw inside the trigger for adjusting pull weight? I'm guessing it is since trigger tech has that feature with similar set screw. If so what pull weights is the min and max you can adjust to. Thinking of ordering a staccato P in august
over travel.
Just got a staccato p, and came across your channel. We have very similar tastes in guns. I carry a usp9c. You should look into a sons of liberty gun works ar’s. I think you would like em. Better than any DD rifle by a mile. Shoot I like my sons better than my triarc. Subscribe right now to your channel.
Texas Ghost thank you! I had been curious about triac 2011’s, but I’m glad I went STI. I don’t see too many sons of liberty ar’s around, but I’ll keep an eye out!
What model is that? Ive been looking for that model and all i see is the staccato p duo. But thats longer than that model
This is a discontinued version of the staccato P. Newer versions have a longer barrel/slide and a new grip texture
You still own this ? I’m currently looking for a 2019 model
How does your Staccato compare to your p226? I’m looking at both. I’ve shot the 226 Legion (with the flat trigger) many times. It feels amazing in my hands and I am deadly accurate with it but haven’t had the pleasure of ever shooting an STI
Dave Sullivan it depends what you prefer. Single action or DA/SA? They’re both great guns, but personally I shoot the STI much better. The 1911 style trigger is amazing
Blue Gunner the flat trigger is a sao on a p226 legion. I sold a p229 legion sao to get the staccato p. I like the sti more but the take down is simpler with the sig.
@@texasghost6725 The new 2020 Staccato P has tool less take down now
Also I just want yo say nice video! I am looking to start my own channel, so love to support other small channels.
Matt Fleming thanks man! You should. It’s fun sharing my favorite stuff with so many people
Did you order this from the STI company themselves or one of their vendors? I tried calling today but was on hold for over an hour before I gave up
thatguy3139 no, I got this at my local FFL. I don’t think you can purchase direct from STI. I’m sure they’re still settling down from shot show
@@bluegunner4719 very unfortunate. I finally found a dealer selling a new one and they marked the price up an additional 500
Yeesh. You sure it wasn’t the Duo? The staccato p duo will run you about an extra $500, but it’s ready to mount an optic
@@bluegunner4719 unfortunately it's not the duo. Just overpriced. I asked because with the price I also assumed it would be the dup
you'll most likely do better sending an email with a phone #.. my guess
It is strange that you can see the gap between the slide and the frame of the gun ...
Look at a 2011 frame and you'll understand
Cannot find this gun anywhere , any suggestions?
Joe Pirapak if you’re in the US I’d just say to check with your local Authorized dealers. The ones around me are usually sold out, but they can special order for you. Other than that, shooting surplus has them in from time to time, but not often
Gun broker
Jpro has all sti guns on constant order
This is obvioulsy an ambidextrous mag button, otherwise there wouldnt be a spot on both sides!
talking about not buying a light if it doesn't look good?
bro, you're talking to people looking at staccatos.
